Shannon makes a point to cross-train everyone in the office so that team members and clients both understand each part of the transaction process. “One thing I notice a lot in the industry is that people are trained for one specific job,” Shannon shared. “Although they may do their job well, they may not understand the steps that come before and after to complete a real estate transaction. I cross-train everyone at my office because I want everyone to be armed with all the information and knowledge they need to solve problems and keep our clients informed.”

The goal is to help clients close on time and ensure they have a clear title while providing great communication.

Shannon uses a communicative approach and her decades of experience in the title industry to make these processes seamless and efficient. She also crosstrains her entire team so that they are capable of understanding every aspect of the transaction process.

With the pandemic came a need for businesses to be adaptable, which Title Concepts took in stride. Shannon found that this time pushed the industry to rely on necessary technology, and her team has changed for the better since.

“Remote Online Notary closings are a normal thing now,” Shannon said. “And even lenders are finally jumping into the technology side of things to make things more convenient. Keeping up with all of that has been the forefront of our business.”
