Written by Sahra Ali “I am a citizen of the world” Lukasz Opalinski states, however, as the principle designer of Project Magnitude, a 90 meter luxury mega yacht jointly presented by Dutch yacht builders, Oceanco, it is quickly apparent that Opalinski is not just a citizen but a visionary in his own right. Originally hailing from Poland, Opalinski was inspired at an early age. Upon realization of his hyperawareness of the environment around him, he found comfort in the pages of his sketchbook. At 20, Opalinski left Poland to study in the UK where his talents soared and he eventually established himself as an artist/designer of all things, namely furniture. Many became enthralled by Opalinski’s creations as they grew to be referred to as not only functional but pieces of art. Eight years later, Opalinski left England to craft his brand in the United States where his proven artistry connected with the complex thoughts of industrial design.

[ by Scott Taylor ] During a 20-year career in Hollywood, Marc Sirkin brokered deals with everyone from Mick Jagger to Beyoncé, for film franchises including “James Bond / 007” to “Mission: Impossible,” television staples from “Seinfeld” to “The Simpsons,” as well as for Miami icons such as Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez. Concurrently, he became involved in Los Angeles’ high-end real estate market, where he sold luxury homes in such exclusive neighborhoods as Santa Monica including some in the same complexes and vicinities where celebrities such as Kobe Bryant and Prince resided. But Marc, who became captivated by Miami’s international culture and tropical climate, (as have so many from around the world), when he first visited it in January 1999 while coordinating Super Bowl promotions for Fox Sports, moved here with his wife in 2011.

Marc began his career as a Production Manager for Dick Clark Productions. During a production hiatus on the show Marc was working on, he decided to utilize his MBA degree from the University of Southern California in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Believing that the promotional and merchandising items in the entertainment industry were for the most part lacking in imagination, he started a sideline business, Secret Identitee Merchandising, out of his apartment. Within a year, the company had so much work it had grown to seven employees, so Marc left Dick Clark Productions to devote his full focus to the company. Four years later, Secret Identitee was ranked in Inc. Magazine’s “500 Fastest Growing U.S. Companies,” with a growth rate of over 2000% in the first five years. Among the projects Secret Identitee undertook was a tie-in with Rayban for the “Men in Black” films, a perfume line for Hilary Duff, for which Marc brokered the deal between Hillary and the CEO of Elizabeth Arden and producing a prime time special on the QVC television network starring Shania Twain.
Twain was cross-promoting her “Greatest Hits” CD & DVD with merchandise created by Secret Identitee. The show broke QVC’s sales record for a one hour special. One of the highest-profile and most complex of Marc’s projects was his work promoting the James Bond / 007 feature film “The World is Not Enough.” Secret Identitee was awarded a worldwide exclusive contract to provide merchandise for all partners and for the film’s marketing efforts. International partners included Omega watches (Switzerland), BMW (Germany), Heineken beer (Holland), Bollinger champagne (France) and Brioni suits (Italy). In addition to these and other items that were sold around the world, Marc crafted a deal to create 200 Bond boutiques across France in the prestigious Galeries Lafayette stores. In the music arena, for the Michael Jackson album “Dangerous,” Marc negotiated an exclusive deal with Epic Records to create a product line to promote it. Among the items approved by Michael was a customized wristwatch which featured an image of his face and his Neverland ranch pets.
As an example showing the extent Marc goes to for his clientele, he sent one of his company’s executives from Los Angeles to Hong Kong for the sole purpose of ensuring that the whites of Michael's eyes were indeed white on the watches and not yellow as seen on a factory proof. Marc Sirkin notes, "The Michael Jackson watches had to be perfect and this type of service is what we were known for -- and was the reason we were trusted to deliver on a project for Epic Records’ biggest recording artist. I bring the same dedication and attention to detail for my clients in the luxury real estate market." In 2015, Marc sold two properties on Miami Beach that broke records. One was for the highest price ever paid for a one bedroom unit and one was for the highest price per square foot ever obtained at the Akoya. He landed a tenant deal for me during the first showing and within 10 minutes of deal making on-site at the same time.
