Internships encourage Fords to explore different career paths, foster connections with employers, and reality-test career choices. Most critically, internships build skills and networks that propel students to post-graduation success. The CCPA can support you in securing internships and research positions in various industries. Additionally, the College has numerous funding sources to help support students to take full advantage of summer experiences.

Class of 2023
Members of the Class of 2023 were surveyed at graduation and over the course of the following six months. These sources confirmed the postgraduation plans for 301 of the 352 graduates, representing an 85.5% knowledge rate as of 12/31/23. Data in this report are based on information from these 301 graduates.
82% of those working responded that their employment path was mostly or directly relevant to their career interests.
89% participated in at least one internship, career-related field experience, mentored research opportunity, or similar professional experience.
Total percentage exceeds 100% as students selecting more than one option are counted twice.
Major: Neuroscience
Post-grad path: Elena is completing a two-year pre-doctoral fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine. At Emory’s Marcus Autism Center, her role includes conducting research on methodologies and approaches in education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also serves as a teaching assistant in the Center’s preschool, which serves as a living research lab with an inclusive classroom setting.

Post-grad path: Anubhav currently serves as an associate software engineer at Morningstar Inc., a financial services company based in Chicago. As part of the Quantitative Research Team, he contributes to the development of an internal application aimed at supporting quant and manager research analysts in creating forward-looking ratings for funds.

Post-grad path: Sharon is starting her post-grad career at the Vanguard Group, an investment advisory firm, where she works as a portfolio implementation associate. She plans to further her education by attending graduate school to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology.
