Happy new year. As we head into the new year, we wanted to give you an update on the regeneration of Harold Hill Town Centre and a summary of what to expect in 2022.
November consultation We held a two-day consultation at Harold Hill Community Hub in November last year as part of our ongoing discussions on the regeneration of Harold Hill town centre. For this stage of consultation, we wanted to hear your views on the designs for the new Family Welcome Centre on the site of the Abercrombie Hostel. Some of the key topics of discussion were: • Community uses such as bars, restaurants, and parks • Facilities for younger age groups • Facilities for older age groups • Crime and anti-social behaviour • Parking
Thank you to everyone who attended, it was great to get your views. We’ve also made a short film about the proposals at the event. Scan the QR below with your phone to watch it or search Havering Council on YouTube. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the film.
