WATERLOO AND QUEEN STREET REGENERATION LOCAL RESIDENT LETTER

February 2022

Dear Resident, we are writing to remind you about the next resident meeting: Date: Wednesday 9th February 2022 Time: 6pm Link to meeting: https://zoom.us/j/3851037608 Meeting ID: 385 103 7608 The agenda will cover planning, design, an update on demolition progress and there will also be an opportunity, as always, to raise any questions or concerns to the joint venture team from Havering Council and Wates Residential. We hope to see you all on the call! Update on site activities: Litter A resident called to complain about the litter in the service road in December and we were able to address this straight away. There have been no further reports of issues, but please do let us know if this issue happens again. Fences The Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) are still continuing their archaeological works in the area until the 9th February which means we have scheduled the contractor to carry out the rest of the works on the fences the week commencing 14th February. Noise We are sorry about the increased noise levels that some of you may have been experiencing, and that the Joint Venture partners weren’t able to communicate ahead of time on this occasion to let you know it was happening. If there are any issues, please let the site team know. Improving communication We have been considering ways to further improve communication with the residents of Cotleigh Road and one of the ideas is to set up a WhatsApp group, which would include residents and Joint Venture partner representatives. We could let you know of any updates, such as when the window cleaner will be returning which doesn’t really warrant a newsletter update. It also gives residents the opportunity to flag any issues immediately with the team for us to respond to. We’ll be discussing this suggestion further at the zoom meeting on the 9th. Working hours

Monday-Friday: 8am–6pm Saturday: 8am–1pm These hours have been set by Havering Council. If we do need to work outside of these hours, we will always write to you and let you know. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
