2.2 Entrance signs

There are 2 types of entrance signs in the park with a large one at primary entrances and smaller ones at other access points. The large signs have a map board (see below) and information on the ecology, history, contact details and key enforcement warnings, e.g. no motorised vehicles and keep your park tidy. There is also a lockable notice board where different small (up to A3) items, e.g. promotion of events and activities, can be displayed.

The smaller entrance signs just have the basic information including the name of the park, contact details and key enforcement issues.

2.3 Equal Access

Most access points around the park, especially the formal ones, are accessible for users of all abilities. Given the open nature of the park there are areas where it would be impractical for disabled people to access. However there are several entrances on all boundaries that are suitable. These entrances have dropped kerbs, wide pathways and level surfaces to allow wheelchairs, mobility vehicles and pushchairs.
