Aaron Hanson

Havre Public School's Classified Employee of the Year

Havre Public Schools

2020-2021

Congratulations to Aaron Hanson on being the 2020-2021 Classified Employee of the Year! Each year, Havre Public Schools employees nominate one of their coworkers to receive the Employee of the Year award. The wonderful individuals that were nominated for this year of 2020-2021 were Aaron Hanson, the Senior Systems Administrator, and Vicki Dritsoulas, a Highland Park Para. In nomination letters from coworkers and colleagues, Aaron is recognized for his good attitude and hard work. He is congratulated on his willingness to help others fix problems and his dependability. He always does an amazing job and has a wonderful passion for what he does. Accepting change is part of his many duties and he handles that well. Aaron, a graduate from Havre High School, has been working for the district for over 12 years. Currently, he is the Senior Systems Administrator at Havre Publics Schools. He plans, implements, oversees, and maintains the server, network infrastructure and projects. Additionally, he provides support to all staff and students across many device platforms. This year has been increasingly challenging during the COVID pandemic, as well as the computer virus situation. But Aaron keeps everything working perfectly smooth, and he does it well. He states, “You often just have to remind yourself you can’t know it all, but you just continue to advance your knowledge over time.” Formerly, he worked at a small computer shop downtown servicing computers, copiers, and networks. His favorite part of the job is putting technology into he hands of students and seeing it being used for new and exciting learning opportunities. Another great part of his job are his coworkers. “I work with some truly great people that make this job great even on the worst of days.” In addition to being a wonderful worker at HPS, he is also a husband and father. He is married to his wife, LeAnne, and has three children, Mackenzie, Carter, and Parker. They will add another child to their family in July. He loves to travel and enjoys remodeling and doing miscellaneous repairs around his home. Aaron is a true asset to Havre Public Schools and very deserving of the title, Classified Employee of the Year.

Thanks for your continued dedication to Havre Public Schools Aaron Hanson!
