

Born in Wembley in 1950, Brian Brooks holds a BFA in painting, drawing and photography from Pratt Institute New York and an MA (Hons) in painting from the Wimbledon School of Art.
During the 1970’s in New York, Brian ran a successful music club in Greenwich Village.
He was active in the art and music scene, collaborating with the likes of Rupert Smith and Andy Warhol at ‘The Factory’ .
He also performed at Hilly Kristal’s CBGB’s in The Bowery, and was a photographer at Merce Cunningham’s rehearsals and performances.
Upon his return to England, he worked as a graphic designer for Kodak Ltd. while continuing to paint and sell to private collectors.
The paper used would be best quality archival Canson or Hahnemulle, using archival inks.
There is a limited edition of 10 per image - signed and numbered, packaged with a certificate of authenticity.
Sizes are for actual printed area, which may vary slightly to conform with print shop requirements. Finished prints will be larger when they include borders.
Turnaround time per print would be in the region of 5 days to 1 week.
The prints would be sent to the client unframed, in a shipping tube.
If a client requests this, we could also undertake commissions of the images on oil or acrylic on canvas or linen, and/or smaller works on Arches watercolour paper.
These would be priced separately, depending on the client's requirements.
