It emphasizes the city’s main axis while adding a new part that fits well with its old character. A walkway connects old and new buildings, linking city life with the sea. Splitting the building into sections helps organize different activities and makes the space feel more dynamic. Rijeka’s different layers - like its industrial past, its old town, and its modern side - are all celebrated and connected. Gaps in the old town layer help keep it airy and lively.
At ground level, there are places for sports and community gatherings, making the project welcoming and lively. In short, this project honors Rijeka’s strength and creativity, mixing old ways with new ideas to create a balanced and vibrant cityscape.

The drawing shows schematic picture of the load carried by structural elements. It is divided into 3 parts (1. Roof garden 2. Cultural block 3. Sports block) since structure itself is carrying different loads in different levels. Starting from upper floor it shown how weight of the floor carried by the secondary elements and transfered to primary horizontal elements. Then with horizontal truss system loads trnasfering into columns and floor by floor with the same technique we are transfering all the weight of the building to the ground.
La Línea de la Concepción is a bustling city located in the province of Cádiz,Andalusia, Spain. It lies adjacent to the British overseas territory of Gibraltar, marking a significant economic and cultural intersection.
The design proposal suggests revitalising La Linea’s streets in order to connect the western and the eastern coastlines via an attractive route of 40 minutes of walking which is adorned by services, bikeways, and means of public transportation. The design creates a new infrastructure accessible within 10-15. The main focus of the project is the territory on the east shore front where it is proposed to complete the urban tissue of existing residential areas by introducing new housing, and to create an educational centre with dormitories, pavilions, viewpoints, a park and an improved embankment.
The proposed project aims to transform the eastern shorefront territory into a vibrant and integrated community space, enhancing the existing residential areas and introducing new amenities to enrich the lives of its residents. At the heart of this initiative lies the vision to create a cohesive urban fabric that seamlessly blends residential living with educational facilities and recreational spaces, fostering a sense of belonging and connection among the community members. One of the primary objectives of the project is to address the growing housing needs of the area by introducing new residential developments. These housing units will not only cater to the demand for accommodation but also contribute to the diversification of housing options, accommodating different demographics and lifestyles within the community.

This educational center will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including dormitories, pavilions, and classrooms, designed to cater to the needs of students of all ages. By providing access to quality education and fostering a culture of lifelong learning, the center aims to empower individuals and contribute to the intellectual and socio-economic development of the community. Furthermore, the project seeks to enhance the recreational and leisure amenities available to residents by creating a park and improving the embankment along the shorefront. The park will serve as a green oasis within the urban landscape, providing residents with a tranquil retreat where they can relax, exercise, and engage in various recreational activities. Additionally, the improved embankment will offer panoramic viewpoints of the surrounding area, allowing residents to enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings while strolling along the waterfront.
