Universal Paints Universal Vinyl - silk Emulsion ( Super Emulsion paint )

Description :

Super emulsion paints is an acrylic copolymer polyvinyl acetate (P.V.A. ) which has special characteristics for its outstanding durability in various weathering conditions . It has an extreme washability , resistance to alkalinity and perfect adhesive , it is not only used for protection , but also it strengthens the cement plaster and protects it . Super emulsion paints resists many solvents without being affected , it also resists the salty sea atmosphere and the sun shine , it is non toxic and inflammable , it lasts for a long time and preserves its colors and quality , it gives a smooth eggshell flatness , and spreads freely without any brush marks .

Area of use :

It is recommended to be used on all exterior and interior concrete,cement plaster , putty filler ,brick .eternit , wood and metal substrates.

Surface preparation :

Surface must be clean free from dusts , oil , grease , dirt and other contaminants , deteriorate substances must be removed , glossy surfaces should be roughened with sand paper . When putty filler is applied , it should be smoothen and cleaned from dust .

Primer :

Newly concrete should be primed with ( acrylic primer sealer , pigmented or non pigmented primer ). Chalking surfaces should be primed with acrylic primer sealer or undercoats or pigmented primer . When putty filler is used it is advisable to apply acrylic primer sealer or undercoats .

Filling : Universal putty filler . Thinning : thin with clean water about 20% for brush or roll 25% for spray ap-

plication .

Acrylic Putty Filler ( 3200 ) Specification : It is made of acrylic vinyl acetate and pigmented fillers in a special

way to fulfill its targets . It spreads easily on masonry substrates for the imperfection of the surface to become smooth . The using of special quality of (P.V.A. ) gives an excellent characteristic for this kind of putty as durability , hardness . Also several coats could be applied on top of each other without the need of any primer between them . It can be used as primer for the interior walls after the dilution of appropriate quantity.

Stucco Antique Specifications : Stucco Antique is produced of best quality of raw materials to give an attractive decoration finish on the interior side.

Uses :

It is used on interior surfaces on gypsum board, concrete plaster and can be covered with velvet or pearl finish..

Surface Preparation :

Surfaces must be clean free from dust, oils, grease, dirt and other contaminants. It must be smooth by using sand paper.

Thinning : It can be used without thinning but if thinning is necessary we can use 5% water.

Theoretical Coverage: 3.5-4.5 sq.m/liter and that depends on the film thickness and on the substrate smoothness.

Drying Time : It takes 1 -2 hours to dry.

It takes 4 - 5 hours to re-coat. It takes 10 - 12 hours to rub it for shining.

Primer and filler:

surfaces should be primed first by using Universal Acrylic primer, then apply two or three coats of filler for leveling the surfaces. Also it can be followed by applying one coat of matching color of vinyl-silk emulsion.

Applying Stucco: Stucco Antique can be applied for several coats by using stainless spatula knife, after 10-12 hours buffing can be done for gloss finish.

Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer Specifications : It is alkyd base zinc phosphate primer (rust preventive primer),

the pigment of zinc phosphate with additional fillers protect all ferrous surfaces from rust. Its well formulated ingredients insure the maximum corrosion prevention and bond to the metal substrate in urban and severe environments. Hammer Paint Specifications : It is an air drying synthetic enamel paint; itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s very quick drying
