PREMIUM ROOM Located on the upper floors of the Hotel, Premium Rooms are decorated in natural-toned colors and offer some of the best views in PMQ . The rooms are furnished with a sizeable working desk, comfortable sofa, ottoman, private terrace with outdoor seating and out door swimming pool with direct access from the room.
The five elements leading to fallacy are: perception, perspective, deceive, accident and emotion. These factors can be divided into two catagories which is internal and external. Internal factors are relating to one’s cognition affecting their own judgement directly. External factors are the messages given from the outer environment affecting one’s judgement.
CONCEPT EXPLORATION
Human deception from gathering false infor mation from someone who gave out inten tionally. -
PERSPECTIVE The art of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other. The perspective is determined by the subjective observer. Illusion is a kind of the examples. There are 3 main types of illusions, Optical, Tactile and Auditory. Which is an instance of a wrong or-misinterpreted perception of a sensory experience.
PERCEPTION Human recognition and acknowledgement, a process by which the brain clarifies and coordinates the chaos that triggers ur senses, is formed and how it affects our memories and past experiences to decide whether something is right or wrong.
After having the basic idea of the concept, we have conducted further investigations on what are the factors affecting people’s perception on a subject. Dividing into a few catagories such as visual factors, environmental factors..etc. We have concluded them into 12 catagories individually, helping us to develop further to our design elements later on.
ACCIDENT An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally in an unexpected environment. Based on the nature of the incident, it will cause self-deceiving or misleading.
EMOTION When Human emotions change, different chemicals are released into their bodies to force them to see the world through a new lens or perspective. As a result, their percep tion changes which will affect the views oftheir first sight, thinking and judgement.
KIDS & CHAIRS An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally in an unexpected environment. Based on the nature of the incident, it will cause self-deceiving or mis-
TEXTURE Textures can be divided into tactile texture and visual texture. Touching: It means using human body to feel and connect with the object surface. Vision: It means using visual or personal life experience to imagine the surface of the organization of the object.
DOTS When 4 dots are shown, people conect the four dots to a squre with the dots as the - corners reflectively. There are infinite meth ods to analysis the dots, for example the one with the dots overlapping the sides of the square.
ADDITIVE AND SUBTRACTIVE COLOURINGS Humans perceive colours differently under certain conditions. In this case, the apper ance of the red colour changes according to the addition of the black cross and the white circle, by adding tints and shades.
HUES
SHADOW EFFECTS
Colors can appear different depending on their surrounding colors and shapes. The two small squares have exactly the same color, but the right one looks slightly darker.
The upper disk and the lower disk have exactly the same objective color, and are in identical gray surroundings; based on con text differences, humans perceive the squares as having different reflectances, and may interpret the colors as different color

What do you see?
Many have misunderstood or mistaken the usage of the words for a long time because of other people’s influences, and since then the wrong usage have become very common and it’s deceiving to people who are trying to learn.
If you are expecting a package to be deliv ered, you might pick up- on the slightest noise of a truck engine or someone’s footsteps approaching your front door. Since we expect something to happen, we may be extra tuned in to clues that it is coming.

SANCTUARY The lobby as a part of hotel is a room in a building satisfaction level and contributes to the attractive ness of which is used for entry from the outside. The entire place is to provide a common area for guests to relax and greet visitors. One of the import ant functions of a lobby is that it serves as the main in a number of ways, the most important being their circulation space, directing guests to the various parts of the hotel.

DISTRIBUTION
As PMQ originally divide the cells evenly, it would be a good condition for a hotel, but there are varies number of visitors living in one room, that's why some of the existing partition walls are abolished for a larger space, as a single room already enough for 2 people, there will be no abolished partitions for this type of room. As the lower level already been taken by other usages, 2 people room will be allocated on 4/F to 7/F randomly.

Interior design
Romance is a symbol of France, which most people think. The reason of naming Camellia as our brand’s name is because of a romance novel – La dame aux camelias, a world literature, a classic romance story with a tragedy ending. The whole restaurant was covered by camellias, the signature flower wall in the main dining area and two infinity camellia mirror walls were the iconic image. To embody the classic French style, roman arch was designed as one of the features, inspired by the Arc de Triomple and Romanesque architecture.
01

We would like to add a modern touch into this feminine design, we don’t want it to be too girly in overall image. Therefore, we matched black and gold with the pink camellias, all embellishment was decorated with black floral wallpaper, black wood texture furniture, gold strips and gold chandelier. All chairs were covered by pink fabric with different texture and different color tone, same as the flower wall assemble with plenty pink(s) camellias, creating a visual delight by only two colors theme. Base on the use of the chair, every zoning was using different chair design.

Reinterpreting “Hong Kong”, translating it into visualization while keeping the identity of the brand has become the challenge of designing the Ricky’s Kitchen branch in K11; for the feature wall, the use of materials represents forest of concrete, the geometry renders the building facade with balconies as well as the density of the city, and the lighting mimics the households in the buildings; for the ceiling, the white LED in the center represents the “Linear Sky Exposure” of Hong Kong, the Leon light on both sides imitate the long exposure photography of highway, symbolizing prosperous Hong Kong and heavy traffic. In terms of futuristic touch, linear LED light, the floating-like portal with bamboo and infinity mirror are designed in respect of the original.

The interior design is highly involved with Hong Kong’s vintage elements. For example, the shop front and reception design are taking the facade of Tong Lau as a reference, also the Hong Kong vintage handmade ceramic mosaic-like floor tile’s pattern. In the colonial era, there are many western decorative ideas brought to Hong Kong. They help recreating the atmosphere of Hong Kong’s cultural diversity merging both local and western ideas. In terms of color, red and black are the domination. Red is reminiscent of restaurant food, black adds modern style, and golden edges as embellishment. The red color shows the spiciness of the brand and foods. Mainly use in logo and interior design color tone direction. The main dining area is forms by loose furniture and benches, which facilitates flexible table merging. As a restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine, round tables account for a certain percentage.
