Who is your greatest role model? Martin Luther King. Rather being an issue based on race he represented equality between everyone. He fought for peace. What makes you happy? Everything makes me happy; seeing someone smile makes me happy. How does your life compare to that of Tinie Tempah? I guess he has made it and I am in the process of trying to make it. We are playing sports in a different field; I want to be acknowledged and know that I too have made it. We’re pretty similar in the way we act and dress; he dresses with class and is open minded when it comes to groups of friends. How would you describe your relationship with your family? I’m the youngest of five; I have one older sister and three older brothers. I used to be pretty protective of my sister until she got married; now it’s cool.
Would you say your identity changes with certain types of people? I guess it depends on the situation. If your parents are strict you’re going to act different, but my mum is cool; she is like a friend. I have different groups of friends and I act differently around each. I have my white crew, the skater boys, my old school friends... What are you particularly happy about? Being celibate. Do you have any regrets? I wasted a lot of time as a child messing around when I could have been doing something positive. But life is a learning curve and without that I wouldn’t be who I am today. How did you get into modelling? A woman came up to me at college and told me I was beautiful! She wanted to use me for a shoot on self expression. I still have the pictures somewhere. Do you have any unusual talents? I might break into rap now and again...

What is your favourite book? Twilight. I love that wolf guy...he’s cool. I can see myself being the wolf in that type of book. But more than the storyline I like how the love between the two main characters is described.
Do you have a music preference? I prefer old music: old school, jazz and a bit of Marvin Gaye. Old music actually a subject and meaning unlike music today. And Adele...wow. I’m in love with Adele and her lyrics; they contain some deep metaphors.

What is your greatest achievement in life so far? Getting eight GCSEs. Getting a B in Art made me really proud.
Tell us about your career. I currently work in New Look but recently applied to work in a gym. I want to be a fitness instructor.

First and foremost, how would you describe yourself in five words? Let’s see... creative, driven and outgoing, receptive... and honest, I suppose.
What do you like to listen to? I’m all over the shop, to be honest. I do quite like acoustic and Live Lounge. Dubstep is a bit of a ‘right sort of time’ thing for me.
What is your greatest achievement in life so far? I’d probably say gaining a distinction at drama school.
And are you a reader? That’s a tough one; I don’t read half as much as I should. Would it be sad to say Harry Potter?! It was ten years of my life, after all; I can’t rule out ten years. Or otherwise, just anything kind of film orientated- director based magazines, for example.
How would you describe your relationship with your family? Quite distant in the sense of how often we speak, but rather close in the sense that when we do, there are no problems. Our communication is quite sporadic. Mum’s in Scotland and my brother is in South Africa so it’s quite difficult. We thought you sounded South African. And slightly Scottish to be honest... I often get that. Some people think I’m South African, others Australian. And then there’s the trace of Scottish in me too...I’m a mix of everything! Tell us about your career. I am an actor and filmmaker, video editor. I do a lot of writing with my production team- one up in Scotland, Blates Prodcutions (you can find them on Youtube and Facebook), and another called Hazaar- which will be based on Prince Harry spoof. We thought the name would be ideal as it obviously rang true of the common nickname for Harry, ‘Hazza’, whilst could remain open to other sketch ideas.
Would you say that you have two sides to your identity and characteristics? Of course; we all do. Depending on who you are with and how you can relate to them, and the circumstances in question, you could be professional, reserved, outgoing, crazy or shy. Definitely. Is there anything in life that you’re especially happy about? Getting through it! What about regrets? Oh, a lot of things. But it’s called growing up. As a kid you do so many things and look back on them and wonder why. I say that now but I’ll look back on this Harry lookalike phase and think “What was I doing?!”, especially when it comes to seeing a gigantic projection of my naked Cosmo shoot on the wall at my wedding. I’m certain that will resurface! Looking to the future, how did you get into modelling? I don’t really consider myself as model. I started out by doing lookalike and acting work for BMA and only recently they’ve put me in for modelling- I guess I’ll see how it goes! Do you have any unusual talents? Beat-boxing. And whistling! (Roddy entertains us with a delightful whistling performance)...

How does your life compare to that of Prince Harry? Despite the obvious differences we do have some similarities; I went to boarding school for five years- mixed though, unlike Harry’s, I was a part of the Marines for four years, where I became Regimental Sergeant Major, in charge of the whole CCF.

What or who makes you happy? Success. And snow. Definitely snow.
Where do you see yourself in five years time? In five years time I’ll be thirty. I’d like to think I would have a wife-to-be and suceeding in something, preferably in documentaries and films. As long as I’m having fun- that’s the ultimate thing.

Who’s your greatest role model? Possibly Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright. I’ve spent much of my time watching their careers evolve as directors and they have undoubtedly had an influence on what I want to achieve in the future.

How would you describe yourself in five words? Quiet, caring, happy, conscientious, and quirky.
Do you listen to any music in particular? I like soundtracks; they put me in a creative mood.
What would you say is your greatest achievement? Gaining a first at University in theatre performance. I didn’t have any experience before then, so it was a pretty big achievement.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully making a successful career out of acting and with a published book.
Do you have a role model? I suppose they change depending on what I have been watching at the time. Obviously big actresses like Meryl Streep inspire me, as do people that you can follow in the industry for advice. How does your life compare to that of Anne Hathaway? We are both actresses, And I have been told I look like her a lot, and have a similar laugh, which is pretty weird! Tell us about your career. I act, write and work part time for my parents accountancy firm. I also have a production company; one day in the future I hope to be producing material.
Do you consider yourself to have two sides to your identity? I suppose I am more reserved with outsiders. With my family and people I am comfortable with I’ m a little quirky; I say the first thing that comes into my head. Is there anything you are particularly unhappy about in life? No, because I always get over whatever I am unhappy about at the time. How did you get into modelling? I wanted to think outside the box, and modelling allowed me to show off different looks and variations that would be beneficial for acting work. Ultimately, I see myself as an actress. Do you have any unusual talents? I can pole dance!

How would you describe yourself in five words? Bubbly, friendly, smiley, clumsy and lovely.
Where do you see yourself in five years time? I’d like to work or travel abroad, most likely America or Australia.
What would you say is your greatest achievement? It would definitely have to be my first paid performance as a dance. It was last year at the EUFA Champion’s League Final at Wembley Stadium last year, and was aired to 300 million people. It was an amazing experience, with 300 of us in total.
Would you say you have two different sides to the way you dress? I suppose style depends on what you are doing. On a night out, I will dress smartly, but because of my job I tend to live in my joggers. I wear a lot of bright colours, which I guess reflects my personality and the way that I feel. I live in my joggers.
Do you have a role model? I look up to people from my dance school that have gone on to dance college. That’s what I want to do- go on to perform on cruise ships and in West End shows. What makes you happy? My boyfriend, my family and dancing. How does your life compare to that of Paris Hilton? We are completely different; we’re not even on the same level. I enjoy it but I ultimately want to perform; I pretty much audition for something different every week. Is there anything you are particularly happy or unhappy about? I am so happy that I went to University and completed my degree. But I suppose I could have worked a little harder. Having said that, I still managed to come out with a good result. How did you get into modelling? I actually got into modelling through an ex boyfriend who happened to be a photographer. And dancing, of course; you need headshots and body photos to send to prospective employers. What are your likes and dislikes? I like social people... and I don’t like cats.

How would you describe yourself in five words?Awesome, incredible, brilliant, fantastic and modest. What is your greatest achievement in life so far? Being active in the Syrian opposition, and finding out that the Syrian ambassador knows who I am. Who is your greatest role model? My grandfather, who was a RAF captain in the Second World War. What or who makes you happy? My friends, family, good food, beautiful locations and sunny weather. How would you describe you relationship with your family? We are very close, warm and loving. Tell us about your career. I don’t currently have a job, other than being a student. My last job was for the Royal Geographical Society. Although my current career plan is to become a solicitor, my dream job would be to become a writer.
What is your favourite music to listen to? I have quite eclectic musical tastes, but my favourite song is “Take This Waltz” by Leonard Cohen. By favourite composer is Dvorak, and I love lots of musicians such as Stevie Wonder and Pink Floyd. Where do you see yourself in five years time? Hopefully starting out as a solicitor, happy with life and where it’s heading. Is there anything you’ve done in life that you’re particularly happy about? I’m glad I’ve tried to help stop the violence in Syria, although I deeply hope the situation improves quickly given how many people have already died. I’m also glad I’ve helped raise money for the earthquake relief efforts in Japan. Do you have any regrets? I wish I had spent more time with my grandmother before she died. Do you have any unusual talents? I can speak Japanese. What are you likes and dislikes? I like Russian literature, gherkins and Lokshen pudding. Rain, nuclear weapons and pumpkin…not so much.

How would you describe yourself in five words? Calm, enthusiastic, religious and a football maniac! What would you say is your greatest achievement in life? I’d have to say getting into University. I am currently studying civil engineering. Do you have a role model? Thierry Henry, ever since I was a boy. How does your life compare to that of Usher? We are obviously similar in appearance and I’d say we dress alike. But I can’t sing or dance...maybe after University I will have time to learn.
Where do you see yourself in five years time? I hope to be an accredited civil engineer and potentially a professional model. Would you say you have two identities in terms of dress? Sure. When I have to get something done I’ll dress in loafers and comfortable trousers; if I’m out to have fun I’ll go for high tops and skinny jeans. Is there anything in life you are particularly happy about? Making my family proud. I remember one time in primary school- it was sports day. I pretty much won every event; my mum and dad were so proud of me that day.
What makes you happy? Football and family- especially seeing my mum and sister smile.
What makes you unhappy? I regret speaking rudely to my mum, but I don’t do it consciously.
How would you describe your relationship with your family? We are close but we don’t openly express our feelings to one another. We know we love each other; we don’t have to say it on a day to day basis. That’s how we relate.
How did you get into modelling? When I came to England two years ago I was invited to take part in a fashion show. I didn’t think I’d get anywhere but I ended up coming second; I haven’t looked back.

How does your life compare to that of Kate Middleton? Kate’s life is entirely in the public eye, whereas I like to keep myself to myself. My private life is exactly that-private. I would never take on the responsibility of becoming a Duchess; I suppose that is the main difference. I couldn’t live with people being in my face all the time. Nor with flowers- I get hayfever! How would you describe your relationship with your family? My family are great and pretty easy going. Because I’m fairly quiet they often think something may be wrong; it concerns them as the family is generally very open- to the point that my best friends will go to dinner with my family without me even being there!
Where do you see yourself in five years time? In Chicago, hopefully. And not living in London. I want to live in New Zealand. Would you say you have two sides to your identity? My family would say that I am happy and easy going, and 99% of the time I am. But that 1% of unhappiness is sometimes inevitable; London is definitely one of the loneliest places in the world, despite its 8 million people. How did you get introduced to modelling? I was scouted in Camden at just 15. It paid for my education; I was extremely lucky. But dancing has always come first. That, education and then modelling. I am planning to set up my own website in the near future giving nutritional advice to dancers. Have you any unusual talents? Being a dancer I’d say I’m very flexible! And I can also twist my tounge...

Who would you say is your role model? In many senses it is my family; they moulded me to be the person that I am today. But when it comes to dancing? Bob Fosse. Football? Jordi Best. And music? My uncle, without a shadow of a doubt.

What is your greatest achievement in life so far? Probably my final piano exam at The Royal Academy of Music. I was awarded one of the highest grades at 97%, despite crying during the exam!
Tell us about your career. I have been lucky enough to do my dream job of dancing in theatre. But at the moment I am training for Chicago; ever since I saw it in New York,and again in the West End with my uncle, I have wanted to be in that particular show. Unfortunately every time I audition I am told I look too young. I was honestly told I looked 15 the other day!

Obviously I am into acting myself so Julia Roberts is definitely somebody that I can look up to. What or who makes you happy? E: Without a doubt my children. It’s going to difficult when they leave home- I’m telling you that for nothing! M: Likewise, my little girl. How would you describe your relationship with your family? M: We are all very close. You could say we’re the braidy bunch! E: With my children? Very close. I personally am closer to my dad and have always been very close to my nan.

Tell us about your career. E: I guess you could say that I’m an all round entertainer. I dance, model, do lookalike work, act and sometimes do promotional work. I’ve also worked in banks and delivered parcels in the past! M: I work in construction, but I wouldn’t mind being rich and sitting on a boat somewhere exotic... Is there anything you are particularly happy about? E: I am so happy that I have travelled. I’ve done pretty much all of Europe now with the kids. And is there anything you regret? E: I don’t really regret anything; you shouldn’t should you? M: It’s more of a learning curve. E: You’re right. There are probably little things that I’m not so happy about but to me everything happens for a reason.
Is there anything in particular you dislike? E: Politicians and the government. I think they’re doing bad things to this country... M: Marmite.

How did you get into modelling? E: I was discovered on Clacton beach when I was 16- when my hair was all the way past my bum! A college student came up to me and wanted to use me for a photography project. I used those pictures for a portfolio and haven’t looked back! M: I was actually first approached through Facebook. A friend was doing photography and she wanted to use me in a shoot.

What or who makes you happy? My family make me happy. And my dream to achieve. But in a single day? If I can sleep, eat and drink- I’m happy. I don’t need anything materialistic to make me happy; real people that give off positive energy and can inspire me are all I need. How does your life compare to Nicki Minaj? Well to start with, she is much wealthier than me! But we are similar in that we are both creative, talented (in different ways) and we are both happy with our bodies. Who knows, one day I may meet her! And what about the lady herself? (Gives us a cheeky smile) I don’t know...I think me and Nicki may both have abit of naughtiness about us, something sexual going on. How would you describe your relationship with your family? I’m very close to my sisters. It’s sometimes difficult with my dad; we have been separated from my mum for over 11 years now and I sometimes blame him for being away from her. We were separated by the conflict in the Congo. That’s why I do modelling- it raises my profile, you know? One day it may help me to find her. Do you have any idea where she may be? Last time we spoke she said she was in South Africa. That was in 2000. One day I hope to have closure. It’s interesting; sometimes through my modelling images I can see my mumher expression and her eyes. In a way it brings me closer to her. I probably only have 3 pictures of my mother, so it helps a lot to relate to her in this sense. But despite all this I am strong; people are worse off than me and at the end of the day I have hope.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In five years time I hope to have found my mother. If I could achieve that it would mean the world. Before that happens, I find it difficult to think about marriage and having a family of my own; I can’t move on without knowing what happened to her. I suppose that’s why I’m not in a relationship; I’m not ready to settle and don’t want to hurt anyone. On a lighter note, meeting Nicki Minaj,I hope to have met Nicki Minaj! What do you like to listen to? Music depends on my mood, but I like African music, Zook, Zumba- that sort of thing. Music can help me to unwind if I’m feeling tense. You know you can get those days when you just want to go home and cry? Sometimes I’ll put music on and the tears will just flow, especially if it reminds me of my mother. Sometimes they are sad tears; sometimes they are happy tears. But it’s okay to cry. Would you say you have two sides to your identity? I’m a Gemini, so people often say that we have two sides or two faces. I disagree to an extent. I don’t like to plan things; if I had an invitation to go to New York today I’d be there in a second, suitcase packed. I like to challenge my character in this way. People who knew me before I began modelling would always say how sweet and fragile I seemed. As a quiet character you can observe others, and this is what helped me to model. Through modelling I can become a character and relate to them; it’s easy for me to relate to another character. Who knows- one day I may go into acting! Is there anything in life you’re particularly happy about? One thing that has really stuck with me is a past relationship I had. I was with the man for 3 years and during the first year of our relationship he spent some time in prison. I feel I showed him the light at the end of the tunnel; I helped him attend college and taught him that through education you can excel and have another chance. You are an extremely positive person, but is there anything you dislike? Gossips. If you have something to say, then just say it! NICKI MINAJ
Who is your greatest role model? Hmm... my mother, I would say. I don’t look up to anyone else.

What is your greatest achievement in life so far? I have completed a degree in biochemistry.
Tell us about your career. My dream in Africa was to be a pediatrician. Even my mother knew I would be a doctor. If I could return to Africa I’d be working in a hospital over there. One day, once everything has been resolved, I hope to work with charity, do a masters, and perhaps some medical research.
