GETTING AROUND ATLANTA AIRPORT SHUTTLES There are a number of hotels, motels and inns surrounding HartsfieldJackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Many provide free shuttle service to and from the Airport. Our recommended hotel - The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown DOES NOT provide a free shuttle service. Hotel shuttle service is available on the Purple Isle outside in the Ground Transportation Center, located at the west end of the domestic terminals building (west curb). The west curb is located outside between the Domestic North and South Terminals. Courtesy phones are available, if you would like the arrival or departure times for your shuttle. Please check with your hotel in advance and inquire if it provides this service. You will notice the Airport’s courtesy phone boards located inside the Airport near the baggage claim areas for both the Domestic North and South Terminals. Courtesy phones can also be found outside in the Ground Transportation Center. *** Shared-ride shuttle services are available at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) during flight operating hours. If you have objections to the following Terms and Conditions, you should not register for or attend the NHPLS. 1. E-Mail Confirmation: Once both your registration form and payment are received, you will receive a receipt via e-mail. The EventBrite registration system will automatically e-mail you a registration ticket. 2. E-Mail Information: Further details or other pertinent information regarding the event will be sent via e-mail after you are registered. Please bring this receipt at registration to receive your $5.00 refund. 3. The NHPLS reserves the right to ask any Attendee and/or their guests to leave the Center, law expo exhibition area, and conference rooms immediately should they be deemed rude, uncooperative, unprofessional, intoxicated, or in possession of alcohol or any illegal substance. 6. Cancellation/Refund Policy: There will not be any refunds or cancellations. You will not receive a refund of the refundable seat deposit if you decide to not show up at the event. 7. Liability Waiver: While we take every possible measure to ensure Attendee safety at the National HBCU Pre-Law Summit (NHPLS), we cannot control everything. For this reason, the Attendee is legally responsible for their own safety and behavior and agrees to, and is held legally liable to, the following statements: I, the willing Attendee of the NHPLS, hereby accept all risk to my health and of my injury or death that may result from participating in the NHPLS and I hereby release the National HBCU Pre-Law Summit, Persistence of Vision LLC, National Pre-Law Diversity Initiatives, Inc., the Center for Civil and Human Rights, and their officers, employees, interns, contractors, sponsors, partners and representatives, estate, heirs, next of kin, and assigns for any and all claims and causes of action for loss of or damage to my property and for any and all illnesses or injury to my person, including my death, that may result from or occur during my participation at the NHPLS, whether caused by negligence of the NHPLS, its governing board, officers, employees, or representatives, or otherwise. Under no circumstances will the NHPLS or their assigns be held liable for my injury or death or any loss or damage of my personal belongings resulting from my participation in the NHPLS. Should I require emergency medical treatment as a result of accident or illness arising during my attendance and participation in the NHPLS, I consent to such treatment. I acknowledge and I agree to be financially responsible for any medical or legal bills that may be incurred as a result of emergency medical treatment. I will notify the NHPLS verbally and in writing if I am at any time injured prior to, during, or after the NHPLS in my travels or attendance, or if I have medical conditions about which emergency medical personnel should be informed. However, I understand that the NHPLS is not legally obligated to act on that information in any way or to provide any medical service whatsoever to me.
