2 Habiba Inuwa graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch) from the Canadian University of Dubai in May of 2015. During her degree she earned (2) Architecture Awards and she was selected to represent the University Student body as the first Student Council President of International and Community Outreach.
3D Max
This built on her interpersonal skills, earning her positions in two(2) top international Design and Architectural firms; X-Architects and Design Worldwide Partnership (DWP) in Dubai. From there, she worked at a renowned construction company in Nigeria known for their innovation in building materials; CITEC International Estates, Abuja. The wide exposure she acquired over the years has pushed her to develop a strong sense in Designing 3D spaces which in turn influences her daily, in the creation of unique spacial relationships for overall awesome, visually apealing designs
This Portfolio showcases a few of her best works. Enjoy!

The Sustainable Centre AL SUFOUH, BESIDE DUBAI COLLEGE. 2015 CONCEPT: A SUSTAINABLE CENTRE FOR LEARNING SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE.
P U R P O S E : To create resilent form that interacts with both the human construct and the natural ecosystem. To also extend the life of the building with as less environmental impact as possible.
C H A L L EN G ES : 1. Building Orientation 2. Sunlight & Radiation 3. Building Envelope in relation to heat. 4. Channelling Prevailing Winds.
D E S I G N : Through the extension of the wind channeling concept to create a form that captures wind and flushes it out using the Venturi Effect. The idea was to achieve complexity through layers and layers of simplicity. All North-facing walls are leaning slightly; to provide extra shading.

INTRODUCTION 5
Dubai is one of the cities that competes with many of the first world countries in terms of Tourism, Education, Transportation, Business and many others aspect.
Though all of these already exist, they are little facilities part of a larger framework.
My proposed project focuses only on Architecture and design. And could emphasize the importance of Sustainable Architecture in Dubai.
There is also a Centre in Masdar, Institute Center for Smart and Sustainable Systems (iSmart)

The centre is intended to enhance Architecture exploratory in Dubai. It is aimed at discovering new knowledge that fundamentally changes our vision of architecture.
My proposed project focuses on providing large-scale, cross-disciplinary research unit established to address a strategic research priority- Sustainability.

3. It focuses only on Architecture and design. And could emphasize the importance of Sustainable Architecture in Dubai. 4. The Sustainable Centre is to house innovative researchers work through Sustainable means to enable the transformation of how the nation generates, delivers, and uses buildings. 5. A centre where architects create Architecture that seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, and development space. 6. The site of my proposed project will create a reference point and guide to sustainable architecture. 7. The project will also attract young researchers.

2. It provides an outlet for displaying innovative sustainable architecture projects.
The most qualitative centre now is part of the MASDAR research centre. This centre focuses on reseach of various platforms such as; Technology, Energy, Microsystem, Innovation There isn’t a centre which focuses on architecture alone and provides a platform for sustainability in architecture.
There are a few initiative centres like Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence (DCCE) and, Middle East Centre for Sustainable Development (MECSD) There is also a Centre in Masdar, Institute Center for Smart and Sustainable Systems (iSmart) Though all of these already exist, they are little facilities part of a larger framework.
