DaAloha was born in 2018 when Kimo and Kris Chung, owners of Hawaii Surf Guru, the top rated Surf School on Oahu, sought to Share Aloha beyond teaching the Hawaiian Art of Surfing. What emerged was a collection of Surf and Aloha themed hats that proudly display a love for the ocean and Aloha to All. Pele’s eruption, which deeply impacted our neighbors on Hawaii Island, was the inspiration for the “Pele > i” design. To help with the ongoing relief effort, DaAloha.com will donate $5 from the purchase of a “Pele > i” hat to the Hawaii Island Volcano Recovery Fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation.
