A MOTHER’S INSTINCTS
The Frost Family Fund Helps Maui Families Thrive

Other parents agreed, and within a few years, the carrier, known as Ergobaby, went global and Frost sold the company, netting money beyond what she’d imagined. “I feel a deep sense of gratitude to make a difference in others’ lives,” Frost said. “Abundance is worthy of sharing, not hoarding.” With the help and guidance of Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF), Frost, her parents, her brother, (and now her son) direct the Frost Family Fund,

The family’s work the Maui Family Support Services has been particularly enriching. “Fathers with difficult lives are learning that being a father is important and worthy of their attention,” said Frost. “It’s a profound experience.” Frost values HCF as the mechanism to target and guide their efforts. “HCF brings a lot to the table that we wouldn’t otherwise know,” she said. “We depend on them to help guide our decision-making.”
