Hobey Beck and his family know a thing or two about Hanalei. For seven generations, the family has farmed the land, raised its children, and nurtured the community. Beck's roots run deep in the rich North Shore soil, parenting four kids, tending to his own agriculture businesses, and sitting on the board of Hale Kauai, a company co-founded by his grandfather, Sam Wilcox, in 1945.
