A TALE OF TWO LIZARDS

Take a closer look at a pair of lizards commonly encountered in Jones Park – the native green anole (Anolis carolinensis) and the introduced brown anole (Anolis sagrei). Using live specimens and images, this program will examine species identification, habitat, food preferences, and the use of these lizards as biological indicators.

DRIVE-THRU LUNCHEON: STOP AND SMELL THE FAJITAS
Tuesday, 11 a.m. – noon $10 per plate. Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, Sept. 10. Stop for beef and chicken fajitas, rice, borracho beans, guacamole, chips and salsa, dessert, and iced tea. Mail payments no later than Tuesday, Sept. 7, to meet the deadline to purchase tickets by Friday, Sept. 10. Payments cannot be accepted the day of the luncheon.
