A summer of tournaments and competition in Almenara Golf

Sotogrande breathes golf during the entire year but this August it is doing so especially at the iconic course of Almenara Golf, located in the sublime five star SO/ Sotogrande, one of the benchmark spots of summer in the resort. The 27 holes spread across the Lagos, Pinos and Alcornoques courses are hosting the most intense weeks of the summer calendar, five tournaments with the best atmosphere and the best commitment to enjoy golf over these days in Sotogrande.

The first of these events is on Friday 11 August with the Fathers and Sons Tournament.

With a shotgun start (9:00); it is one of the most classic tournaments of summer and is played in the Pairings Closest Ball format at a unique price; devised for pairs of adults and children (over or under the age of 18).

Next Friday, 18 August, a se- cond edition of the Father and Sons Tournament is taking place, a recurring event during the holiday period and with a high level of registrations.

On Saturday 12 August, in the heart of the “long bank holiday” in summer, the 25th Anniversary of Almenara is taking place. In the Best Ball Stableford Pairs Format and with a shotgun start (9:00); enjoy a great tournament for just €90 (per person) which includes a cocktail and awards ceremony.

On Saturday 19 August, the Heineken Circuit is coming to Almenara Golf with the Best Ball Stableford Pairs Format. With a registration price of €90 (per person); participants will enjoy a great event and meal at one of the gastronomic spaces of hotel SO/ Sotogrande. This tournament is exclusively prepared for elderly participants.

Before the end of August, the Final Andalucía Golf Challenge is taking place on Friday 30, with the first of the outings at 9:00 and in the Singles Stableford format.
