Renuevan las canalizaciones de fibra óptica en Las Adelfas de Guadiaro

Mejoras para el Valle del Guadiaro, en plena temporada alta. La teniente de alcalde de Infraestructuras y Obras, Belén Jiménez, realizó una visita a la urbanización Las Adelfas, en Guadiaro, donde se están acometiendo trabajos de renovación de canaliza- ciones de fibra óptica, dado que las actuales presentaban numerosas dificultades para ser reparadas en caso de avería.

Belén Jiménez indicó que se trata de trabajos de nueva canalización en toda la urbanización de Las Adelfas, en la zona nueva de la barriada. Aclaró que, además de ser una necesidad, era una de las peticiones de los propios vecinos que tenían problemas con las conexiones a internet. Explicó la edil que la canalización donde existía anteriormente la posibilidad de meter fibra óptica estaba en el interior de las viviendas, que se ha ido obstruyendo debido a las diferentes obras que han ido realizando cada uno de los vecinos; tanto era así que es inviable pasar la fibra por esa canalización antigua. Apuntó Jiménez que los trabajos, por tanto, consisten en “sacar desde las esquinas las nuevas canalizaciones que van por el propio acerado, lo que permite que sea mucho más fácil descubrirlas en caso de que pueda surgir cualquier tipo de avería en el futuro”. Añadió que con esta obra se dispone de un punto de entrada a través de una arqueta por cada dos viviendas para facilitar aun más los trabajos en caso de avería, con la esperanza de dar respuesta a las necesidades de los vecinos de esta zona.

The councillor explained that the cabling where there was previously the option to put in fibre optic was inside homes, which had gradually been obstructed due to the different works that each of the residents had carried out; so much so that it is not viable to put the fibre through the old piping.

Jiménez stated that the work thus consists of “bringing the new piping out from the corners, going under the paving, which makes it much easier to reveal them in the event that there is any kind of fault in the future.”

She added that the work has an entry point through a casket in every two homes in order to further facilitate work in the event of a fault, with the hope of meeting the needs of residents in this area.
