Star Design Pro webV3 Welcome to the new Star Design Pro WebV3 designer. The designer is a web based Memorial design program. Within the designer you can use our existing library of designs to create your new memorials. You can Start a New Design and create a Memorial using our Library of Emblems, Graphics and Panels. The designer can be used to print, email and when approved order your memorial from Star Granite. Currently the pricing module is not implemented and will be updated when it’s available. Please refer to your Star Price Books for pricing. TO ACCESS THE DESIGNER We recommend using google chrome as your browser when using the designer. In some cases it is possible to use the latest Internet Explorer ver.11 and Firefox ver.28.
Open your internet browser and navigate to:
www.sdpweb.net Login to the designer using the username and password supplied to you by Star. There are two types of logins. While logged in as a Client or Client Manager you will notice the header has a few extra options as a Client Manager. This will distinguish your login role while using the designer.
1. Client Login: An individual with full access to designing a memorial but does not have the functionality to “Order” a memorial.
2. Client Manager Login: An individual with full access to designing a memorial and has the ability to place the order with Star Granite.

2 DESIGN TOOLS INFORMATION
Design Library: Location of our pre-designed memorials. Custom Library: Location of custom shapes to use in your design. Marker Library: Location of marker shapes to create a marker design. Add Graphics: Location of our Emblems, Carvings, Panels and all artwork used to create memorials. Add Text: Add new text to a memorial. Add Vase: Add vases to a memorial.
In our libraries, you can navigate through the folders to the design or size you require.
C A shortcut you can use to quickly access designs is to type in part of the name that you are searching. see (A)
Design Categories are customizable per Customer.
Press the Search button. see (B) Choose your design by left clicking on the chosen design and pressing open. see (C) Quick open by Double left clicking on the chosen design.

Quick Zoom, use the scroll wheel on your mouse and roll it away from you to zoom in and towards you to zoom out.
Undo a change to the design Show Grid for alignment, toggles off/on Align selected objects to the center of a memorial both vertically and horizontally Align selected objects to the center of a memorial vertically
Redo a change to the design Show Ruler, toggles off/on Align selected objects to the center of a memorial horizontally Flip the Memorial view to design the back.
4 PROJECT TOOLS
My Projects is the place to open designs created and saved by a user within your company.
Print your design Email your design
(CM) Order is selected to submit an order to Star Gr. Save is selected to save your current design. You will be required to choose a folder to save the design in. Recent Designs shows your most recent saved design for quick access by simply double clicking to open. 5 MEMORIAL PROPERTIES The property area displays the dimensions of the memorial in Length-Width-Height These dimensions are recorded as if you were standing at the foot of a memorial looking at it in front of you.
The BASE and Memorial finish options are accessed by clicking on the drop down menu arrow. Some browsers require you to double click.
6 MATERIALS The MATERIALS area is a listing of our granite colors. You hover over the color with your mouse to view a larger preview. You click on the color to change all pieces in the design to your chosen color. To change separate pieces you must select the object to change and use the Settings menu to change the color of that object only. These colors are a graphic representation of our granites only. To view the exact color you are matching contact your sales associate for assistance.
Scroll for additional colors. 7 LITHO COLORS The LITHO COLORS area is a listing of our litho colors. You click on the desired color to change the selected objects litho color. These colors are a graphic representation of our litho colors only. If you select “Apply To All�, then all graphic images and text litho color will be changed together at the same time.
Scroll on each side for additional colors. 8 FAVORITES The FAVORITES area is a clipboard of your most commonly used graphics. When a graphic is in the design you can use the Settings menu to add it to your clipboard. You click once on the FAVORITES graphic to add it to the design. Be careful, clicking more than once will add multiple copies of the graphic. Delete those not needed.
By right clicking on a FAVORITES you have the option to remove a FAVORITES from the list. you can then open a new graphic and save it to the FAVORITES list.
