To Whom it May Concern, Re: Support for Gilda coworking space On behalf of the members of European Forum of Independent Professionals (EFIP), I wish to give our support for the establishment of the non-profit coworking space Gilda initiated by our member the Croatian Independent Professionals Association (HDNP). Infrastructures for freelancers matter to Croatia as well as to Europe. They help them to create work and perhaps most importantly are a source of sustainability, productivity, growth and innovation. Coworking spaces empower and enable the self-employed to build networks and form project teams, share skills, contacts, work collaboratively and are hugely beneficial specifically for young people looking to develop their career as independent professionals. Consequently, coworking can help people to try out self-employment in a comparatively sheltered environment with little business risk and so broaden the scope for labour market participation. With this letter we encourage you to recognise the non-profit coworking space Gilda and support its development by all possible means. Best wishes, Marco Torregrossa
Secretary General European Forum of Independent Professionals
