She saw the fall of the Soviet Union through the eyes of her Russian friends and committed herself to promoting peace and harmony between the two nations. In addition to her own personal experiences, Webb also describes Christian martyrdom in the former Soviet Union and Christianity’s fate in the new Russia as well as Russian addiction-prevention and recovery programs. She was involved with several of these programs herself and is still inspired by the dedication and perseverance of her coworkers and community!
