Cocacola alone has more than 3,500 different drinks in its production arsenal. If it came to you to try one new coke beverage everyday, it will take you about nine years to finalise the whole collection. Amazing, huh! 9. 7 UP It is an interesting fact that 7 UP decades ago used to contain lithium. Lithium is a mood stabiliser for depressed and bipolar patients. However, you now need a prescription to get this drug and it was not until 1948 that 7 UP was lithium free. It was a lemon soda with a lithium touch, well that should have made everyone on Earth happy! 8. Dr.Pepper Dr. Pepper is one of the most mysterious drinks whose ingredients are still in question. People tried to speculate a lot about what the ingredients might be but no one could really pull it off. The Dr.Pepper website said that it is composed of 23 different flavors and they are a top secret proprietary.

The Pepsi points program Pepsi started an even dumber campaign in 1996 which was the Pepsi points program. The idea goes like that; the more Pepsi products you buy the more points you get and with these points you can trade many things like t-shirts and other stuff. One of the things you could trade for is military Harrier jet for 7.000.000 points. One business student found that you cant actually buy a point from Pepsi for 0.10 and by doing some math you can realise that the $23 million jet is yours for only $ 700.000. The matter was taken to court and the judge ruled for Pepsi! 2. Diet cocktails Diet cocktails get you drunker by 18%! This was proved by a research conducted by Kentucky University. When alcohol is mixed with regular soda, the body processes the sugar as food and thus slows down the body’s absorption of alcohol. Watch out ladies! 1. Fanta When Cocacola separated from Cocacola Dutchland Max Kieth remained loyal to Cocacola and refused to join the Nazi party. He tried to invent a soda with the minimal ingredients he had and Fanta was the result! Of course, the recipe changed a lot from the original one.
