12 Bad Habits That Exhaust Us Everyday

A common problem most of us face is finding ourselves continuously exhausted; too tired to do work or chores or even have a good time. Little do we know that some simple lifestyle changes can boost back the energy in our body and soul. Here’s a list of the bad habits that we can avoid: 12. Skipping Breakfast Skipping breakfast leaves you feeling sluggish and tired throughout your day. A balanced healthy breakfast helps furnish that metabolic boost you need to actively start your day and carry out your duties efficiently. 11. Heavy Consumption of Caffeine A cup of coffee in the morning is not a big deal. Up to 3 cups of coffee each day may actually be good for you. However, the trouble lies in heavy consumption of coffee and relying on caffeine to get through the day. Caffeine deprives your body from sleep and keeps you from having your rest. Try to cut out caffeine at least six hours before bed to avoid this problem. 10. Not Drinking Enough Water


Drinking enough water prevents our body from dehydration. Dehydration might cause your blood to thicken; making the process of pumping oxygen, carrying blood to your muscles and organs less efficient. 9. Junk Food Fast foods loaded in carbohydrates or sugar disrupt your blood sugar level. This rise and fall in blood sugar levels leaves your body feeling weary afterwards. On the other hand, more balanced meals would be a healthier alternative to keep you going throughout the day. 8. Not Having Enough Iron in your Diet Iron in your blood cells helps the transfer of oxygen to your body and muscles. Eggs, green leafy vegetables, lean beef and kidney beans couples with vitamin C are a great source of Iron. Also consult a doctor in case of iron deficiency anemia. 7. Taking a Break from Exercise Regular exercise is the best way to enhance your physical and mental strength. It boosts your cardiovascular system to the better. Cutting off exercise when you’re tired only worsens the situation. In case of feeling worn-out from exercise, a short walk would still do the job. 6. Checking Your Phone before Bed-time The screen glare from your phone accounts to a negative effect to your sleeping pattern, which causes exhaustion when you’re awake and affects your activity. 5. Staying up Late on Weekends Staying up on the weekends makes it harder to sleep the night before going to work the next day. Sleep deprivation causes fatigue. Power naps through the day will not be sufficient and will cause more exhaustion. 4. Not Being Able To Reject Doing Favors People might often ask you for help while you always feel like it’s necessary to always say yes even if you’re short of time and energy. Start with organizing your desk, it will give you a sense of relaxation and concentration. 1. Being a Perfectionist Being a perfectionist means working overtime and pushing yourself over the limit to achieve unrealistic goals that you usually beat yourself up for not reaching. Set yourself a specific time to finish a job and you’ll find yourself satisfied without overwhelming yourself to improve it.
