Seven Home Remedies To Relief Menstrual Cramps

Applying heat on the lower stomach is the easiest and most effective way to relief menstrual cramps, head helps to relax the muscles of the uterus that are constantly contracting, you can either lay in a hot bath for half an hour or so or apply hot Packs on your lower stomach, this remedy will help the flow of the menstrual blood to increase. 2- Ginger. Ginger is another very effective herb to help relieving the menstrual cramps, you can grate a small piece of ginger and mix it with some honey and Consume it directly or make some ginger tea sweetened with honey and drink it three times a day.


3- Basil. Basil has pain killing properties due to its content of caffiec Acid therefore it can be used effectively to reduce menstrual cramps, add one spoon of crushed dried basil to a cup of boiling water and cover tightly for ten minutes then drink it. 4- Cinnamon. Cinnamon is another herb that can help you reduce menstrual cramps, it has anti-inflammatory, anticlotting and antispasmodic so it is perfect to be consumed in the days of the menstrual cycle, you can either form a paste of honey and cinnamon and Consume it directly or make cinnamon tea. 5- Fennel. Fennel is rich with anti-inflammatories, antispasmodic and pain killing properties whcih will all help in relaxing the contracting muscles of the uterus and relief cramps and discomfort, you can boil one teaspoon of fennel seeds with one and hand cup of water for five minutes, let it cool then drink. 6- Blackstrap Molasses. Blackstrap Molasses is rich with magnesium, iron, calcium and potasium which all are needed to prevent blood clots and ensure a healthy flow for the menstrual cycle, add one or two spoons of blackstrap molasses to a cup of warm milk and drink its twice a day or whenever you feel cramps. 7- Camomile Tea. Camomile tea has anti-inflammatories and antispasmodic properties that help relaxing the uterine muscles, in addition to its general relaxing properties, the way to use camomile tea is by adding one teaspoon of camomile to a cup of boiling water and drinking not sweetened with honey.
