Time goes by quickly, and sometimes, it feels like you just don’t have enough of it. Your health plan is no time machine, but it can speed up the healthcare process to save you some time. In 2019, you can skip the wait at the doctor’s office with an all-new virtual visit benefit. Talk to a board-certified doctor or counselor at any time of day, any day of the week by phone or secure video through MDLive.com or the MD Live app. The cost is typically the same as a primary care office visit copay. You can be seen for more than 50 common conditions, including these and many more. • Allergies

You can also use the Anytime Nurse Line to get answers to your health-related questions 24/7. Big Moments May Give You an SEP Life’s biggest moments may also cause a change in your insurance needs. Luckily, many of those moments qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). Usually, you can only make a plan change once a year, but an SEP allows you to make a plan change outside of your normal enrollment period. Check your plan materials to learn more.

General Health Reminder: NSAIDs Could Increase Blood Pressure Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may increase your blood pressure or block the action of other medications. Common over-the-counter NSAIDs include ibuprofen (like Advil and Motrin) and naproxen (like Aleve and Naprosyn). NSAIDs also include prescription arthritis medications like diclofenac, etodolac, meloxicam, nabumetone, piroxicam and sulindac. These medications all have the potential to increase blood pressure. Talk to your doctor if you take an NSAID and have concerns about your blood pressure.

Harvest Chicken Casserole INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (plus more for baking dish) 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1/2 onion, chopped 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth 6 cups cooked wild rice 1/2 cup dried cranberries 1/2 cup sliced almonds

1. Preheat oven to 350 F, and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with oil. In a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken to skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, 8 minutes per side. Let rest 10 minutes; then cut into 1-inch pieces.

2. Heat remaining tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add onion, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts and season with thyme, paprika, salt and pepper. Cook until softened, 5 minutes. Add broth. Bring to a simmer. Cook, covered, 5 minutes. 3. Stir in cooked rice, chicken and cranberries. Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with almonds and bake 20 minutes. 4.
