UNIT DOSE SOLUTIONS WHAT LABEL & TRAY SHOULD I USE WITH MY BLISTER? Not all oral solid dose pharmaceuticals come packaged from the original manufacturer in unit dose or unit-of-use packaging. It is therefore essential that users rely on the extemporaneous packaging of oral solids. HCL carries a wide range of unit dose packaging materials – blisters and labels – so that users can pick the appropriate packaging components to meet their speci�ic criteria. Our Unit Dose Blister and Label product line enables the pharmacists to choose the blister and label combination appropriate to their site-speci�ic packaging needs. It is critical, that the proper components are aligned with respect to class and expiration date in order to provide the “stated” protection.

HCL commissions the performance of USP Package testing to classify all of its packaging materials in accordance with USP Package Class Ratings (USP 27 Section <671>). This testing is done to render an informed judgment about the stability of the package materials for a particular type of product. The �inal package is a combination of the blister material and the label stock. This testing classi�ies our packaging materials contingent on the appropriate combination of blisters and labels being utilized together.
