MEDIA-FILL TEST KITS are intended to prove the skills of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists involved in the compounding process. We offer three levels of Media Test Kits. The difficulty of maintaining sterility increases with the number and complexity of manipulations. Choose the media test kit that is similar to the most involved procedure practiced in your pharmacy. Each kit is valid for only one person and must not be interrupted once testing begins. When the testing is complete, the items must be incubated and monitored for turbidity. Hospitals should follow internal SOP to determine testing frequency.

Examples include reconstitution of single-dose vials of antibiotics or other small-volume parenterals, preparation of hydration solutions

•The White metal tubes come with White plastic screw caps. • The tubes are secured after filling by folding the ends of the tubes by hand or with tongs.
