Our Unit Dose Blister and Label product line enables the pharmacists to choose the blister and label combination appropriate to their packaging needs. It is critical that the proper components are aligned with respect to class and to provide the “stated” protection.

HCL commissions the performance of USP Package testing to classify all of its blisters and labels in accordance with USP Package Class Ratings (USP 27 Section <671>). This testing classifies our packaging materials contingent on the appropriate combination of blisters and labels being utilized together.

• Once filled, a hand crimper securely seals the cap onto the vial. These vials are easy to use and ideal for preparing small quantities of liquid unit dose medications. • The Amber glass vials are available in 15, 30 and 60mL sizes. They are made of a Type 3 sodium lime glass and meet the USP Type III standards of light protection for light-sensitive medications. • The Amber plastic vials also meet the USP requirements of light transmission for light sensitive medications. The Amber vials are made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). • Tamper-evident safety caps, made of three-piece aluminum construction, deter tampering. Once the cap is crimped on the vial, the contents cannot be accessed without removing the cap and leaving evidence of access. • All vials provide a large labeling surface for easy product identification.
