WHY IS ASO/CBO LEADERSHIP NEEDED? A fundamental shift is transforming the public health system, including implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, advancement of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, redirection of HIV funding, biomedical advances, and medicalization of HIV services -all stressing the vital ASO/CBO infrastructure. In order to maintain and enhance the viability of ASO/CBOs to remain relevant in this dynamic environment, HealthHIV has launched a first-of-its-kind program, the HealthHIV ASO/CBO Leadership Training and Certificate ProgramTM, to provide training to ASO/CBO leadership and , including emerging leaders.

WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM? A comprehensive and nationally relevant, self-paced, online training curriculum which: Features six adaptable, one-hour courses D esigned for AIDS service organization (ASO) and community-based organization (CBO) CEOs, Executive Directors, Program Directors, Executive-level Managers, Board of Directors, and other individuals in leadership and/or decision-making roles Offers a Certificate in ASO/CBO Leadership
