talks about bottled water lot of people have plastic bottles of water with them. Canadians have stacks of bottled water stored in their automobiles.

Water is a big business for many, and the main players in this industry include Nestle, the Coca-Cola Company and PepsiCo. About 40 percent of bottled water is regular tap water that may not have received any additional treatment. The plastic of water bottles also have cancer-causing chemicals and toxins. Bottled water that has been sitting in a warm car is hazardous because the heat will cause cancer-producing toxins in the plastic to leak into the water itself. Even our tap water contains cleansing chemicals such as chlorine and fluoride. Harvard University and the Medical College of Wisconsin documented that drinking chlorinated water accounts for 15% of all cases of rectal cancer in the U.S. and 9% of all bladder cancers. Research has also shown that fluoridated water accounts for six times greater the incidence of bone cancer in males under age 20. Even when we boil our drinking water, the minerals and vitamins are killed, yet the chlorine and fluoride stays. My suggestion is to firstly, drink water coming from your natural habitat. This is because nature in different areas evolves to provide the best minerals we need to live in specific environments. There are general health guidelines telling us we need to drink more than 2L of water per day. However, I find that guideline to be overstated because all of us differ by weight, height and physical needs. Instead of following a general rule, we should only drink when we are thirsty. Other tips include: drink herbal tea instead of just water, because the vitamins and minerals from herbs will seep into the water; store water overnight in a can or any utensil, so that the chlorine will evaporate; buy water filters to filter out the lead, copper, mercury and chlorine in tap water. For me personally, I prefer juicing fresh organic fruits and vegetables, which give us the best composite of natural vitamins and minerals. One thing to keep in mind is: we should drink fresh juice almost immediately after pressing it, because vitamins and minerals can evaporate within an hour of storage. I wish all of you readers would have a healthy and happy summer!
