DIRECTION & ACCOUNTABILITY HealthSource Solutions began consulting with this client in 2010. They had been offering wellness activities for several years but were looking to partner with a vendor that could help them take their program to a deeper level. A HealthSource consultant worked with their wellness committee to build the infrastructure that would support a 24/7-365 day operation. We created a 3-year strategic plan with meaningful goals and metrics tied into their companies corporate strategic goals. The wellness strategic plan focused on: • Creating a solid communication plan • Improving tracking and reporting • Establishing a wellness champion network • Moving to a tobacco free campus • Decreasing employee health risks • Implementing programs to support change in physical activity and healthy eating habits

BUILDING A BEST PRACTICE PROGRAM Throughout our five year relationship, we met monthly to provide guidance on effective strategies to reach their program goals. Their main drivers to success were: • Improving leadership support • Creating a solid wellness committee and wellness champion network • Establishing a recognizable wellness brand • Strong program communication • Changes in healthy behaviors

PROGRAM RESULTS The overall wellness program goal, tied to their corporate strategic goals, was to have 60% of employees participate in at least one wellness program throughout the year.
