large majority of the Year 8 cohort have been involved in the BBC School Report project. As part of the process students have interviewed a host of famous faces: the Leader of the Council, Ann Lucas OBE; writer and rapper, Benjamin Zephaniah; world-renowned surgeon, Dr Fiona Reynolds and the Duchess of Kent, to name but a few. The students have gained experience in researching along with compiling direct and probing questions. Some interviews were undertaken electronically, whereas the majority were conducted face to face.
