Les’ Grandma Hilda was also from Mecosta County, it is the place both sides of his family have lived since the 1800s. She started Les’ love for movies and music, allowing him access to her sizable record collection from a very young age. She has always been one of his greatest supporters, both personally and professionally. She is the reason I placed this big ad this year she is living in Florida, and we wanted to make sure that she knows what a big deal she is!

Les’ Grandma Van was the Register of Probate for Mecosta County for 27 years and served as a guardian and conservator through the courts well into her 80s. She won the Liberty Bell Award from the State Bar of Michigan in 1978. She was a truly compassionate woman who cared for anyone in need. Her influence on our office is immeasurable.
