My favorite part is the all the engineering that went into these rings. We have a channel that allows us to adjust the ring to your size and more importantly readjust over the years without compromising the structural integrity of the ring. That’s important because free lifetime adjustments are part of our lifetime warranty. We were able to create diamond “O” under the diamond setting that gives us more flexibility on the height of the diamond setting and creates more structural security. We pumped tons of jewelry engineering into this collection.

After years working as a teacher in both Midland and Greenwood, Tracy Farrow was looking for a new challenge. With the support of her family and friends, Farrow began the first steps into a new career choice in the field of real estate. Harnessing the passion from working closely with students as a teacher helping them to learn and grow, Farrow transitioned into the field of real estate by continuing her passion of helping others, this time with guiding people through the process of finding their first home or their forever home.

Changing careers at any point in life is never easy, but Farrow, who was raised in Midland, credited her experience working as a teacher and having a lifelong passion in helping others as the reasons why she feels she is in the right line of work.

“I just love Midland,” said Farrow. “I am a Midland girl to the core, and I have always remembered my roots and where I came from. The people here are so great. I love my hometown.”

After spending 11 years working with Legacy Real Estate, Farrow ventured out and opened her own agency, Tracy Farrow Realty.

“Those 11 years were a great experience for me,” she said. “You know you are in the right position when you don’t feel like you are working anymore. I knew early on this is something that I loved to do and getting to serve clients in Midland has been so great.”

She credited the time at Legacy and the people she worked with and learned the ins and outs of the real estate business in preparing her to open her own agency.

“It’s been great so far,” she said. “I have learned so much along the way and learned a lot through challenges. I really took a leap of faith with this move, and it has worked out well so far.”

Helping first-time home buyers is something Farrow said she will never get tired of and is one of the best parts about the job.

“I love helping first-time home buyers. There is nothing better than that exciting feeling you get when you help someone, or a couple find that first home that they wanted. It is so fun to see everything come together, when the paperwork is signed and they finally get the keys to their first home,” she said.

Farrow graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Education and a minor in Speech Communication. She went on to work as an elementary school teacher in Midland for 12 years and in Greenwood for another 12. Her work as a teacher helping students to grow and succeed has carried over into her current career where she works hard to help clients find their dream homes.

“I really feel like I’ve come full circle with my career,” she said of moving into real estate from teaching. “I just love helping people and it has always been a deep passion of mine.”

Farrow credited her husband of 38 years, Coby, with supporting and encouraging her move into a new career field. Coby is a homebuilder and owns CTC Homes & Construction.

“My husband Coby, my son Caden, my family, friends, colleagues and clients have all been so supportive and helpful to me throughout this entire time and it has really been a blessing for me,” she said.

In her career working in real estate, Farrow has received several awards including the Platinum Producer Award from 2015 through 2022 while with Legacy. Voters in the Midland Reporter-Telegram’s Readers’ Choice Award contest have also taken notice as Farrow has received multiple Gold and Silver Awards as a Top Realtor in the local area, including a Best of the Best Award in 2023. This trend continued again in 2024 as she collected multiple Gold Awards across the real estate category including Best Real Estate Agency, Best Real Estate Broker, Top Realtor and much more. As she did last year, Farrow received a Best of the Best Award to highlight the multiple honors received in the contest for 2024.

“I’m just so grateful for the support from my family, friends, clients and the community,” she said of receiving honors such as in the MRT Readers’ Choice Awards contest.

In her free time, Farrow said she keeps active in giving back to the community through such things as helping to sponsor the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which is in memory of her father Ronnie Lewis, Read Across America, serving on the Board of Directors at Mission Agape, supporting missionaries serving in countries around the world and much more.

As for the future, Farrow said she hopes to continue to grow her business and continue with her passion of helping clients find their dream homes and serve the community. She loves a verse in the Bible, Matthew 5:16, which says “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

“My agency was built on this scripture,” Farrow said. “You never know what the future holds, but so many wonderful doors have been opened for me through this venture and I believe that is because of my faith in God.”
