The local church is the hope of the world. It’s the body of Christ in action that brings the Hope of Jesus to those who are hurting and those who haven’t heard the Good News of Jesus. We’re winning the respect of our city by the way we care for people. Jesus said go everywhere and tell everyone about me, make disciples…do this in Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria and to the ends of the Earth. Our Jerusalem is Indianapolis, it’s the city God has placed us in. Through strategic partnerships and your generous giving we are able to make a difference in our city, our nation, and around the world.
This year we launched a Residency Program to prepare the next generation of church leaders. Currently there are 12 residents serving in real leadership positions across every ministry area of the church. The residency is a two year, full time leadership training program designed to give hands on experience working with one of the staff teams at Heartland or a local partner church, personal mentoring and leadership training to equip emerging church leaders for a lifetime of ministry success. Through our partnership with Wesley Seminary at IWU, we are able to provide a Master of Divinity degree to equip ministry leaders and pastors with a seminary education geared toward church multiplication and rooted in the local church.
DOWNTOWN CAMPUS Downtown Indy will be the location of one of two new Heartland Church campuses launched in February 2016. This campus will meet in the new state of the art YMCA in the heart of the Circle City and offer two Sunday morning services. We are currently building the launch team and preparing for this awesome opportunity to reach new people with the gospel of Jesus in the vibrant area of Downtown Indy.
WESTFIELD CAMPUS Westfield will be the location of one of two new Heartland Church campuses launched in February 2016. This campus will meet at Carey Ridge Elementary and offer two Sunday morning services. We are currently building the launch team and preparing for this awesome opportunity to reach new people with the gospel of Jesus in the growing suburb of Westfield.
HSE CAMPUS In July, we acquired 20+ acres of land on 126th and Southeastern Pkwy that will be the future site of our HSE campus. For the past 5 years, the HSE campus has been portable but now this space will allow the HSE Campus to grow and expand it’s outreach in the Fishers area for the cause of Christ.
