We are excited to be growing as we move into 2022. We're starting off the year with a bang — a larger issue brimming with inspiration and impactful wedding professionals. We've always featured couples and vendors from all over Iowa, and we are now officially coming to Eastern Iowa! We look forward to sharing the stories from Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, and sharing the inspiration in our pages. This issue you'll find styled shoots from both Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. Our first brings together Western boho vibes by the lovely ladies of Dame & Maiden and Vowed Vintage (pp. 6 – 10). And our second from the halls of Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery created by Unique Events. With so much talent in this great state, we know we'll always have the best ideas to share with you. Our first feature wedding in "It's My Big Day," is Mariah + André. We're loving the soft color palette of blues and greens, and who can pass up cupcakes and rolled ice cream for dessert. The day was full of smiles and fun all around (pp. 26 – 33). Our second wedding is Taylor + Nathan's "I-Do's" at the newly renovated Surety Hotel. From the lens of Morgan Moon, you'll get to experience their day like you're there. The night was full of family and a big surprise for all their guests (pp. 36 – 41)!

An intimate, candlelit wedding with a special surprise at the reception. What a dream! Taylor and Nathan met through her previous boss whose husband grew up in the same town as Nathan. Every time Taylor’s boss saw Nathan, she suggested he ask Taylor on a date through Facebook. Once Nathan finally sent her a message, Taylor waited a few weeks to make sure he was interested before agreeing to a dinner date the day after Christmas. Their beginnings were worth the wait because the darling couple has been inseparable ever since!
