12 FAQ’S OF CHRISTMAS

1 What’s the minimum number for booking and can we add people at a later date?

Minimum number of 8 people per booking. Yes you can add people later, but remember some nights sell out quickly and once our table plans are confirmed, we may not be able to add to your booking.

2 Where will my pre-ordered drinks be?

Your pre-ordered drinks will be waiting for you on arrival. Make it known when checking in that you have a pre-order, and you will be guided to where your drinks are waiting.

3 Can all my party pay separately?

Unfortunately not, payment is only accepted from the main party organiser, individual payments will not be accepted.

4 How do I pay at the bar?

Our bars take both cash and credit / debit cards. There is no cash machine is on site. We don’t offer a bar tab service.

5 Can we bring our own drinks?

Only drinks purchased at Heart of England Conference & Events Centre can be consumed on the premises. If any drinks are found being brought into the venue, these will be confiscated and not returned.

6 What’s the dress code? STRICTLY PARTY SMART

No: trainers, ripped jeans, sportswear or tracksuits.

7 We have special dietary requirements, what do I do?

We can accommodate most requirements but need to know before you arrive to avoid any delays. Notify us of all requirements at time of booking as late requests may not be able to be accommodated.

8 Can I bring gifts/secret Santa?

Unfortunately not, if you arrive with wrapped gifts, we will hold them for you until you leave at the end of the night but none are permitted into the party room.

9 Where will my table be situated?

Your table could be in either The Birchley Suite or up on the Chestnut Suite Balcony. Please let us know at time of booking of any mobility issues - we do have a lift up to The Chestnut. We book tables on a first come, first served basis for those wanting to be near the dance floor. Table plans aren’t released until the day of the party. We will book the Birchley Suite first and then the Chestnut Suite Balcony.

10 Can I leave my car over night?

Yes you can leave your car overnight, but all cars must be collected between 9am and 12 noon the day after your party.

11 Is there an age restriction?

Our events are for everyone over the age of 16 however we request that we are made aware of any under 18’s attending with your group to comply with our alcohol licensing policy.

12 When do I get my tickets?

Our events are ticket-less, you will be given wrist-bands at check in and your party will be shown their seats by our event hosts.

STAYING OVER

We have some rooms on-site in Old Hall House our 4* B&B and we have additional Shepherd Huts, Log Cabin & Pods. These get booked quickly so don’t delay if you want to stay.

We came for the Christmas Party and loved it that much we booked up for New Year’s Eve too. We stayed in the hotel which made all the difference as it meant we didn’t have to sort transport on the night to get home. Both nights were absolutely amazing! Food was lovely, entertainment magical and the party room took our breath away! Dunno how you do it guys every year but you get better and better! Roll on 2022.

Christmas Parties & New Year’s Eve

1) BOOKING TERMS

a) £20 deposit per person is required to confirm bookings. The ticket balance is due 4 weeks before the date of the event. It is your responsibility to make sure this is paid. If the balance isn’t paid in full 4 weeks before the event date your booking will be cancelled, and the deposit lost.

b) All deposits and balances are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid

c) Group bookings must be made in one to ensure you are seated together.

d) Drinks pre-orders are required 4 weeks before the date of your event

e) Minimum number of people per booking is 8.

g) It may be necessary to split larger groups across more than one table

4) LIABILITIES

a) The venue shall not be liable to an attendee or guest for any loss or damage to property if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

b) It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure all belonging are secure, the venue does not provide a manned cloak room.
