WHO ARE WE? North Simcoe Tourism or better known as Heart of Georgian Bay is the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the communities of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny. We are a not for profit organization, devoted to attracting new visitors to the area, enticing them to stay longer and encouraging them to return with friends. We work with industry partners to develop new products and packages, and strategically market the unique regional offerings. We want to be the portal for tourism information.

Free Website Listing www.gbay.ca Our website is a portal of information for visitors to the area to get all their information in one place. In order to appear on the website, register to create an Operator Profile and log-in to edit it at your convenience. You have control. Bonus! By creating a profile, a duplicate will also appear on Bruce Grey Simcoe’s website and may appear on the Georgian Bay Coastal Route website. How to create an Operator Profile
Visit www.gbay.ca using your internet browser and click on “Operator Login” in the top left-hand corner of the homepage. This will bring up the Operator Login page. Click on “Operator Registration Page” to create a profile. This will direct you to a new page. Step 1: Fill in your contact information and create a password. Step 2: Check to see if your organization is already listed. If it is, select it and click “Submit My Registration” If it is NOT, click “Enter My Organization”, fill in the boxes as required and click “Submit My Registration” You will receive an email from Heart of Georgian Bay staff once your registration has been approved. You will then be able to login to complete your profile, or change it as often as you would like! Note: all registration submissions are subject to review, and your profile will not appear until the profile is complet
Free Tourism event Listing Are you organizing an event, with the goal of attracting visitors from outside of North Simcoe? 1 in 4 visitors to gbay.ca consult the events listing and it’s completely free! Bonus! When you submit your event, it gives us all the information we need to promote it on social media channels and in our monthly e-newsletter. How to submit an event
Visit www.gbay.ca using your internet browser and click on the Events tab in the main navigation menu. Just under the banner image, click on “Event Submission Form” and complete the form that appears. The “Summary” will appear on the main Events page, and should be only a few lines. The “Event Details” will appear once the visitor clicks to learn more. It should include schedule of events, performers, age restrictions, ticket prices, and any other information you would like to display. Note: all event submissions are subject to review.

By completing the agreement of this contract, you as the partner and advertiser are agreeing to participate and/or purchase the programs you have selected and should material not be submitted, you are still liable for charges noted in the Participation Agreement. Your cost includes creative design for advertorials and creative writing. All advertisers will receive a one-time proofing of their advertorial; however North Simcoe Tourism reserves the right to approve final layouts and photos used. All photos must abide by the Artwork Specifications noted in the Participation Agreement. North Simcoe Tourism reserves the right to refuse participation in advertising programs to any business or person for any reason it deems necessary. The advertiser’s account with NST must be in good standing before the advertiser can participate in any new programs. In order to qualify for Early Bird Rates, NST must receive the signed Participation Agreement from the Advertiser on or before Saturday, August 31, 2019, and receive payment in full on or before Sunday, September 15, 2019. NST reserves the right to change the criteria and pricing for participation if it deems necessary. The advertiser is responsible to ensure that all information, including but not limited to: contact information, description, details, photos, and attributed photo credits are correct for both the purposes of participation in any advertising. The signee agrees that effectiveness of participation on the Discovery Guide are in no way a guarantee of specific traffic. The signee agrees to provide a Heart of Georgian Bay logo on their website, with return link to http://gbay.ca The signee agrees to make reasonable effort to distribute a minimum of 150 copies (equivalent to 2 boxes) of the Discovery Guide at their place of business.
