The Tale of an I want to tell you about an amazing Christmas tree tradition that has brought me, my family and friends so much joy over the years. I hope it may inspire you this very Christmas! It is the creation of our Christmas cookie tree, an edible tapestry. The tradition of making cookies,
hanging them on a small tree in the kitchen, started the year my son Pete was born well over three decades ago! I was a newlywed, far away from my New England home, and I realized that the traditions for my new family were mine to draft. So, I found a little 4' Christmas tree (this one was real) and made a batch of cut out cookies. I frosted and hand decorated them. Taking out the frosting pens I added our first names‌ my son, my husband, mine, then the names of family and new friends I knew would soon be
