Hot tubs If you have booked a lodge with a hot tub you are about to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing experience!

Always shower before using (to avoid a green tub!)

HOT TUBS

The hot tub is maintained to strict industry standards with a water change before you arrive. Our authorised qualified contractor, visits each day for testing purposes and will make himself known on his arrival. For your safety, please: l

l

Do not use the tub if you have a fake tan. This will result in brown oily deposits which may block the filters, and could mean the tub needs to be emptied and cleaned/refilled at your cost.

Medical:

If you have any heart or related medical conditions seek advice from a doctor before using the tub as hot water can increase heart rate. Pregnant women should consult with doctor before use. l Shower again if you’ve applied suncreams during the day. Do not use if you’ve had a stomach upset in the last 14 days. l Carefully remove the tub cover with 2 people, and place away from the tub. Take care if you have sensitive skin. Internal insulation panels are easily Children: damaged and expensive to replace. Not suitable for infants. Please supervise l Drinks – use plastic glasses. children at all times. Do not eat food in the tub.

Using the tub:

Safety: The tub has an irregular floor, (hidden when the jets are bubbling) with slippery surfaces and hard walls. Take care getting in and out of the tub.

Recommended time is no more than 30 minutes. Then replace cover and take a 2-3 hour break. The tub will reheat automatically.

l

Do not use the tub between 10pm and 8am. Respect your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.I

l

Exiting the tub: Simply replace the cover and after 5 minutes the jets will stop. Do not switch off mains as this is emergency only.

Do not constantly get in and out of the tub as this reduces the water level, and if it goes below the skimmer the heater will not work. l Do not immerse your head in the water or swallow the water. This could result in a stomach infection. l We recommend you tie up long hair. Refer to specific hot tub instructions. Any problems please call 015394 68032.
