Everyday Courtney Every morning I wake up at 6:15. I get awakened by the light in my room from my older sister Kellie who is a 1st grade teacher and has to get at school by 7:30 to do some work. She teaches at saint Attica’s school in Milton. I can hear the shower in the other room across the hall. My sister listens to iheart radio in the morning of off her phone. “WAKE UP “ I hear my sister say with such attitude she could be a teenager as she rips the covers off of my warm body. I am not a morning person at all. I like to sleep. My sister, lucky for me! (She IS a morning person.) She is always happy and cheery when I just want to go to bed. I walk slowly and dreadfully in my parent’s room and jump in their bed my mom is already in in the shower I sit there and listen to the morning radio that wakes my dad up. After I hear the water stop and my mom getting out of the shower, I get up and walk into my room. By this time my sister is down stairs making her lunch and has shut of the heat. So I grab my blanket and sit down on the floor. I am so tired so I just sit there for a second. Then I get up and get dressed. I grab my ipad and headphones of my bed. I listen to law and order when I got to bed on my ipad so I can fall asleep. Next I walk downstairs and wake up my sister Kerrie who works at Putnam investments and has to be awake at 6:50. I walk into the kitchen I can see my dad standing in the corner making coffee at the KURIG. I put my shoes and my coat on and walk down to the first apartment in my 2 family house. We have 3 floors me, my 2 sisters and my parents live in top 2 and my nana and my uncle live in the bottom 1. I walk thought the hallway and sit down at their kitchen table. Where I find my nana drinking coffee and reading the morning paper. My uncle is already gone for work. “Good morning” I say cheerfully. “Good morning, how are you?” she replies. “A little tired” I say as I shrug my shoulders and open the refrigerator. “aww that’s to bad” she says as she continues reading the paper. I grab water from the top shelf and slam the fridge shut. I look at the clock on the oven. By this time I am awake and alert. It is 6:59. I tell my nana that its time to go. She jumps out of her chair and scurry’s over to the door. She opens the door and steps out (depending on the weather). I usually say something in along the lines of “have a good day “ and “love you see you later”. I kiss her on the cheek and head down my driveway. As I was walking I put my headphones in and turn my music on. I turned onto my street and walk down to my bus stop. Soon after the bus came hurdling around the corner.
Then the bus stopped in front of me and the doors opened. I heard a familiar voice that I hear every morning 5 days a week. My bus driver. His name is tony. He is a very important person in my life. He is Hispanic. Every morning he says good morning to me. And I thought long and far about this. He wakes up every day and he knows that he is a part a child’s getting to and from school safely. He is so nice and he knows that we all love him because he always has a smile and is always happy. Whenever he grates me he is always cheerful and delighted.
