Newbury Street! Paget Carina, Shira and I didn’t know What to do Coffee in our hands We brainstormed The aquarium? To far Amusement park? To expensive Mall, We thought Perfect! But all malls are so far We pulled out our wallets To check how much money we had And we found the key! A tee card! We could go to Newbury Street!
We got to the tee stop and waited It seemed like a second until A train pulled around the corner We herd the beep from the ticket scanner We tried to find a seat but couldn’t We ended up stand in a very crowded train 8 long stops
“Destination, government center” “Next stop, Kenmore” “Doors opening on right” Over and over again. But Finally “next stop, Copley!!” The doors slide open and we slide out The heat of the station hits us We race out of there As quick as possible We run up the stairs and see a busy Long Street We know we are here And are going to go all the way down the street We get so excited we hop into the first store we see!
We had no plan No clue on where to go None of us had been there Before So we quickly came up with the plan to Wing it And just keep walking until We see somewhere
We want to go! First: urban outfitters Where I got 3 stamps One said Dislike One said like One had a moustache Second: forever 21 Where I got new earrings Third: Newbury comics Where I got some pins Fourth: Japanese market Where I got soda Fifth: American apparel I didn’t get anything L Sixth: Starbucks Where I got a Frappuccino And FINALLY The thing I was the most excited for Seventh: GORGETOWN CUPCAKES!! These cupcakes are the best You will ever have I got chocolate lava cupcake It had vanilla frosting and fudge in the middle The most devious thing I have ever had! It just made my day
And I was ready for the long and hot Tee ride home
We got a little lost Trying to find the tee station Where we got off But searched And searched And finally found it! We stepped down the staircase to the underground tunnels Where we saw the scanners These things are very scary! “They might close on you� I said! I scanned my card and ran through!
We waited a lot longer For the train Then we did when we were Coming to Newbury Street We waited almost 10 minutes! And it was rush hour so we were Jammed into the corner of the train covered in strangers! One stop Two stop Three stop
And many more! “Chestnut hill, doors will open on the left” Home! I had the greatest day Me and my friends all split and went home But later We Skype each other And talked about the next time we would do something like We did that day!
