These brilliant limited edition photographs by Lawrence Schiller capture the eternal spirit of a true icon. Hollywood starlet. Sex symbol. American icon. Marilyn Monroe’s status as an enduring figure of glamour made her one of the most famous figures in American history. Of all the images shot of the incomparable movie star, the most iconic were these, taken by famed photographer, director and author, Lawrence Schiller Printed from film that was lost for decades, Schiller made only 75 editions of these breathtaking photographs, and none will ever be created again. From the 1960 candid image shot during the filming of Let’s Make Love, to the legendary poolside photoshoot on the set of “Something’s Got To Give” in 1962, each image pays homage to the vibrant, unforgettable woman that was Marilyn Monroe through the lens of a virtuoso. We are honored to offer this exclusive, limited edition portfolio of 12 photographs of Marilyn. Each photo measures 20 x 24 inches, of which 10 images are silver gelatin prints and two are color photographs. Each image is numbered and signed by Schiller and is housed in its custom leather case, which is also signed and numbered. A very limited number of individual signed and numbered photographs are also available.
