This program is designed to provide education to help patients get “back on track” with diet and exercise routines. We offer a discounted rate should you chose to do the entire program or you may opt to do services A la Carte. See below for a list of services and fees.

Step One: 3-HR Bariatric Nutrition Education Class. This class goes over eating habits, reading food labels, portion control, understanding the differences between: fat-free, low-fat, reduced fat and light foods, how to calculate whether or not a recipe or prepared food is considered low-fat using the information from the nutrition label, how to identify hidden sugars in foods, reducing/removing "empty calories” from your fluid intake, the importance of protein, minimeal examples and more. The fee for the 3-HR Bariatric Nutrition Education Class is $90.00, and is offered once a month on a Saturday. This class includes a folder with handouts. (Included if you chose to do the program)
Step Two or Three: 1-HR initial consultation, at this appointment Nancy will review your: eating patterns, 3-day food log, new patient questionnaire, determine your BMI, calculate your protein needs and make nutritional/lifestyle change recommendations based on what you have been taught at the 3-hr class. The fee for the initial consultation is $80.00. (Included if you chose to do the program)
Step Two or Three: 2-HR Vitamin Class. This class includes information on vitamin, mineral, and protein supplements, including purchasing information are discussed. Vitamin deficiencies are real and can cause serious health issues; we see these issues on a regular basis in patients not following a post-surgery vitamin/supplement regimen. Deficiencies can occur many years after surgery, and they are 100% preventable. Our goal is to help patients
achieve optimal health and prevent all of these avoidable complications with detailed education and support. Also discussed are ways to avoid post-surgery complications that can happen at any time after your surgery such as: dehydration, constipation, gas, etc. The fee for the 2-HR Vitamin Class is $60.00, this class includes handouts. (Included if you chose to do the program)
Final: 30-minute Follow-Up. A one-on-one 30-minute follow-up to review your food logs, recent labwork (if you’ve had any done please fax results to our office BEFORE scheduling your appointment), and discuss the nutritional/ lifestyle changes you’ve implemented since your initial consultation and since attending our nutrition and vitamin class. (This follow-up is included if scheduled within 90 days of completing your last class.) The fee for a 30minute follow-up is $45.00. (Included if you chose to do the program)
The fee for the entire program, should you pay in full at your initial date service, is discounted at $215.00; a $60 savings. Or you may opt to pay for services A la Carte prices are listed in the details of each service; $275 total prices are listed above after each service description. Additional follow-up appointments can be scheduled, at any time, on an “as-needed” basis once you complete the services included in the program or if doing A la Carte. You must first schedule to attend the 3-hour nutrition class before being seen for individual consultations. The fees are $45 for 30-minutes and $80 for 60minutes.
