Introduction I am
doing a project on five shapes. A rectangle, obtuse triangle, regular octagon, scalene triangle and a trapezoid. In this book I am going to inform you about Polygons!!! There are so many shapes around us all the time. Enjoy!!

Regular Octagon All of the sides of the octagon are the same measurement. That means all the angles are the same measurement. The regular octagon has 4 pairs of parallel sides. The octagon has 8 sides. Images:

Trapezoid A trapezoid is a part of the quadrilateral family along with all other four sided figures. The trapezoid is a 4-sided shape with straight sides. The trapezoid has a pair of opposite sides parallel. The trapezoid has 4 angles and all the angles add up to 360Âş. Images:

Conclusion This is my mini textbook on polygons. To create this book I used Pages. I learned all the technical and “slang” terms for all the shapes. I also had a really fun time making this book.
