Introduction
This book that you are reading right now is a book about polygons. I researched five polygons and figured out what they meant, how many sides they had, and the amount of angles there are. Those five shapes were right triangle, equilateral triangle, square, parallelogram, and regular hexagon. I started out finding a picture of these figures online, then I found pictures of them in real life online, and then I found these shapes in my house. This project was a cool and fun project to do.

Equilateral Triangle An Equilateral Triangle is a triangle with 3 equal sides. It also has 3 equal angles and if you add up all the angles it will add up to 180ยบ.

Square
A square is a 4 sided figure with 2 pairs of parallel sides. A square is also a figure with 4 vertices and all angles are 90ยบ. If you add up all the angles they will equal 360ยบ. All the sides of a square are the same.

Right Triangle
A right triangle is a triangle with one right angle but all the side lengths don t always have to be dierent. They can all be the same. You can still add up all the angles and you will get 180º. A right triangle also has 3 vertices.

Parallelogram
A parallelogram is a four sided ďŹ gure but is just tilted to one side so that just the two side pieces are tilted. A parallelogram also has two pairs of equal sides and two pairs of angles that are the same. If you add up all the angles in a parallelogram it will equal 360Âş.

Hexagon
A regular hexagon is a figure that has 6 equal sides and has 6 equal angles. A hexagon has 6 vertices and all the angles of a hexagon add up to 720º. Every angle of a hexagon is 120º.

Conclusion
This was my book about polygons and I used Pages to create this project. I learned that there are a lot of polygons all around us even though we do not realize them. The shapes that I was learning about were; hexagon, right triangle, equilateral triangle, square, and parallelogram.
