NiLa Located in downtown Singapore and infused with classic as well as cutting edge detailing NiLa restaurant takes its inspiration from Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru, also known as the New Art Movement. The Merlion, a half lion and half fish figure represents the genesis of the island. The Merlion is composed of delicately overlapping fish scales topped by a lion’s mane. Accordingly, the restaurant design follows an Asian Art Deco theme. Divided into multiple zones, the dining room interlocks spaces to mimic the Merlion’s delicate curves of the fish tail. NiLa is conceived to evoke serenity with a modern elegance and features Chinese culinary creations.

Streeterville Residence A four level unit home designed for a newly wed couple in the sophisticated neighborhood of Gold Coast in Chicago, Ill. Inspired by the book “One Thousand and One Nights,â€? I divided each zone into small segments of a story in the book. Each story has a different meaning, but they all come together at night. They share the same starry sky, a contrast in color between the sky and the ground, lanterns that light up the way and romantic gestures. The design style I approached is a modern bohemian chic dĂŠcor. To translate this idea into my design, I will use complimentary colors, abundance in patterns, different light sources and curvilinear furniture to accentuate movement. Modern and contemporary finishes will anchor my design to incorporate western influence.

Raw Food Market Raw Food Market offers healthy products in a creative and enriching environment. The interior design is inspired by the organic forms of wood grains and the zen culture. The market exposes patrons to a naturally raw environment and influence them to implement sustainable standards into their personal lives.

Bulan Hotel & Casino Inspired by the cubism movement, Hotel Bulan embraces the different cultures that create the island of Singapore. Interlocking cultures, are disguised throughout the design. The floor in the reception consists of three types of marble flooring to give it a sophisticated look and grand entrance. The Casino is located on the second floor and is accessible to guests and

Buddhist Temple My objective is to create a space that is tranquil and serene for the users. I decided to build the temple in Laos along the water falls of sopheak mit. the sound of the waterfall combined with subtle colors will help create this environment . My approach is to conserve the old natural stones and softened it with local bamboo. The building is a modern style mixed with traditional patterns. A walkway bridge combines both buildings.

Xavier Loft This multi- level loft is home to a married couple, a single parent with a child and a senior parent. The loft must be functional for every individual as well as interactive. My concept derives from classical Italian architecture. Every room is detailed from floor to ceiling carried by visual aesthetics throughout the loft. It is a modern space but has classical and organic elements.
