NINA Nina is a new and exciting 38-metre design from Heesen Yachts, build on the proven semi-displacement hull form. Both the exterior and interior are designed by Hot Lab, a young team of Milan-based designers. Sporty and dynamic, the aluminium hull can reach a top speed of 23 knots powered by twin MTU engines. For optimal trim and stabilisation, Humphree Active Interceptors are fitted as standard, but at-anchor stabilisation is also an option.

CLASSIC YET CONTEMPORARY Hot Lab has taken the classic Heesen look and refreshed it by maximising window space and open-air deck areas for owners to enjoy stunning sea views. The upper deck aft has been extended to create room for a 6 metre jet tender and water toys. The sun deck is shaded by the Bimini hard top for casual, open-air dining with grill and bar area. The area can be accessed both internally from the bridge deck and via a special collapsible stairs from the upper aft deck.

BESPOKE MATERIALS MAIN SALOON I A notable example of the design details is the use of open grain flamed American walnut veneers in book-matched style for the furniture and table tops. The fabrics on board are by Loro Piana who – encouraged by Cristiano Gatto – developed a special textile for marine use that is used throughout the yacht.

GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT OWNERâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;S STATEROOM I Set forward on the main deck, the full-beam master suite exudes elegance and refinement. The ingenious combination of wood, marble and leather, together with polished stainless steel accents, creates a uniquely calming atmosphere with space to spare. On the starboard side there is a relaxation corner with a large curved sofa, while on the opposite side there is a writing desk that doubles as a vanity table.

SMOOTH & EFFICIENT Traditional displacement hulls are associated with less speed but more comfort. So zero-speed stabilisers ensure maximum comfort at anchor, and the well-engineered steel hull with bulbous bow provides smooth and safe cruising in all sea conditions up to a top speed of 15 knots with a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

AYLA Combining speed and space in a formula known only to Heesen Yachts, Ayla is yet another example of our hunger for perfection. This yacht has the largest volume of any yacht of her size and still provides a top speed of 23 knots. Her flowing lines are highly distinctive. MINIMALIST CHIC Project Ayla’s chic minimalist interior design is by Cristiano Gatto. Gatto’s contemporary interpretation of New Déco style was inspired by the work of design legend Jean-Michel Frank, together with the opportunity for clients to personalise the décor at different stages of the construction process. The extensive use of upholstery, both on vertical and horizontal surfaces, will allow the new owners to choose material and colour palettes to create the atmosphere that corresponds to their own taste and lifestyle.

COMFORT AND COSINESS MAIN SALOON I The 50-sqm main saloon exudes luxurious comfort and cosiness thanks to the use of soft chenille fabrics by Dominique Kieffer. The sofa can be easily transformed into an enormous lounge chaise by sliding the two ottomans closer and moving the ebony table trays to the side. With these simple movements the whole room completely transforms from a formal conversation area into a relaxed and family-friendly space. The lounge area is completed with two club chairs by Donghia.

DINING IN PRIVACY MAIN SALOON DINING I A screen of sound-proof material divides the lounge from the formal dining area, providing a high level of acoustic privacy both for the owners and the crew when servicing the dining room. A grandiose, bespoke dining table for twelve guests will offer the perfect setting for formal indoor dining. Low, leather-covered cabinets on both sides provide ample storage for the tableware.

SPACIOUS AND CLASSY OWNER’S STATEROOM I The 47-sqm, full-beam owner’s stateroom is set forward on the main deck. The clever use of mirrored glass increases the sense of overall space. For added privacy, the openplan suite can be divided by a concealed TV placed in the opening between the sleeping area and the generous bathroom.

The exterior of Nova is designed by Omega Architects and it’s our first yacht with hybrid propulsion. In this case ‘Hybrid’ means that the yacht can draw on two sources of power for propulsion: diesel mechanical and diesel electrical. Either or both sources can be used at the same time. This provides less noise and vibration, a more flexible power management which means better efficiency.

SWIMMING PLATFORM Another innovation is the wide central staircase leading from the generous swim platform to the main deck aft that provides a grand entrance when arriving by tender. To maximise the size of the fixed swim platform, which is sheltered between the hull bulwarks for protection from the wind and to enhance privacy, the tender is stowed out of sight in a recessed bay on the foredeck.
